Several techniques were implemented into propaganda during World War II in an attempt to persuade.

The first poster illustrates a mechanic and a soldier helping each other. This poster, like most others, uses bright colors to attract the attention of bystanders. The poster also gains the person's attention through diction. On the poster, it reads "FRONT-LINE BREAKDOWNS CAN LOSE BATTLES...THAT'S WHY OUR WORKMANSHIP COUNTS". In doing this, the creators are attempting to induce a reaction by including that person in something more. They are also giving the impression that the war is dependent upon them.
