Day 4: Describe a time when technology failed you
One time technology failed me was the wrong use of guns. A gun is a tool of protection and not for the mass killing of innocent lives. The advancements on the gun went from an inaccurate single shot projectile such as a metal ball taking forever to reload to a acurate automatic rifle firing hundreds of rounds a second with a semeless reload. All of these wrongful use of the gun would take away the actual use to the people that actually needs it but due to the exploitation of the gun, there is many controversy and even more problems arising from an issue that shouldnt have been messed with. It failed me with all of these people that are so ignorent of the matter infulencing even more dumbfounded people and blowing the situation out of porportion. It fails the constituational rights to bear arms and just makes it worse for everyone else. It's like that one student in class spreading false information to other students and would have the result of that one person bringing down the entire class and

For example, my iphone is my second brain. it handels all the hardwork while im just the one to operate and maintain the iphone. I would'nt need to send physical letters to a friend to communicate but instead, I would just shoot a text and most of the time get a response that is much faster and more effiecent than a horse and mailman oing back and forth. It is my all in one camera that houses most of my pictures and could easily view and share that picture to friends and family with a few clicks. If I didnt have a phone, then would need to resort to having a seperate camera with film then use my time to go to a place that would produce that film into an actual picture. Then, I would need to organize the actual photo into a photo album or I would forever lose a snap of memory. The phone is simple, easy to use and effiencant rather than it's
Smartphones have become an extension of one’s self, capturing memories, storing information, communicating an individual’s thoughts and feelings, setting reminders etc. It has become a necessity that many people feel they cannot live without. However, their usefulness comes with a price. A price Carr states and backs up with multiple studies researching the effect smartphones have on the brain and human interactions.
Our modern day society depends on technology for everything, can anyone imagine a life without their phone or computer? Probably not, social media and other popular applications have become so ingrained into our daily lives. Not only can we connect with people anytime throughout the day but we also have so many useful applications that help us on a daily basis. Thinking back to when I was eight years old, I couldn 't wait for sixth grade because my parents had promised to get me a cell phone, I remember counting down the days till the summer of fifth grade was over because I already knew which cell phone I wanted. Once I got it I couldn’t stop showing my mom all of the cool things it could do. Which looking back at it today, it really couldn
Technology is supposed to be seen as such an advancement and great accomplishment. What others may not always know is sometimes it isn’t all fun and games, it can be dangerous. As seen when we created the atomic bomb and guns, their only purpose is to destroy and cause pain to others. Although they are not always in use, they are a constant threat to our well being. We need to take into consideration the positives and the negatives of the technology we create today.
In today's world, technology is constantly changing from a new paperclip to an improvement in hospital machinery. Technology lets people improve the way they live so that they can preserve their own personal energy and focus on the really important factors in life. Some people focus their energy on making new innovations to improve transportation and the health of people that may save lives and some people focus on making new designs of packaging CDS. Technology is significant in everyone's life because it rapidly changes what is in the market. But, some new innovations of technology are ridiculous because they serve no purpose in helping mankind.
The problem with guns is fairly obvious: they decrease the difficulty of killing or injuring a person. In Jeffrey A. Roth's Firearms and Violence (NIJ Research in Brief, February 1994), he points out the obvious dangers. About 60 percent of all murder victims in the United States in 1989 (about 12,000 people) were killed with firearms. Firearm attacks injured another 70,000 victims, some of whom were left permanently disabled. In 1985, the cost of shootings was an estimated $14 billion nationwide for medical care, long-term disability, and premature death. In robberies and assaults, victims are far more likely to die when the perpetrator is armed with a gun than when he or she has another weapon or is unarmed.
presence of guns in America. I do believe that the problem is one that should be solved,
It can be argued though that Not all technology is bad, Medical, and educational technology is beneficial and can be ne.cessary for today's living.Technology for medical purposes is vital for treating the injured or the sick, like when Mildred overdosed on pills if weren't for the machine that "pumped new blood into her cleaned her system, she'd be dead if it weren't for the technology.Another example of technology would be for education, the technology that's used for education is important and can be argued that it's necessary for teaching these days.Without it, teaching would be more difficult than it is today.

There are a few components that go along with technology. There are a lot of pros to technology, but what else is it good for? Many people think that technology is bad, but at this time of life, the good always outweighs the bad.
When thinking of killing, drugs and nudity, I’m pretty sure not many people think of positive ideas. Electronics, such as television and computers, show these kinds of things regularly. Despite this explicit material, some people see the constantly improving technology as a wonderful addition to our lives. Yet as time passes, more and more people start to have doubts about what these developments in technology are leading to. Kids and teens should be playing and using their imaginations; instead they devote countless hours on various electronics ranging from tablets and computers to phones and TV’s. These inventions often show explicit and inappropriate material which corrupts children, and are slowly ruining society’s social skills.
Like the rest of the world, I cannot go a day without my phone. Try leaving your phone at home for a day and let me know how you feel. With the growing technology my phone is like my arms and legs. It is my must- have- can’t live without phone. It is my connection to the outside world. It is my connection to other people’s lives and theirs to connect with mine. The “cell phone” started out as a form of communication via calling and then it exploded with text messaging. Now it seems that most people would prefer texting then calling someone.
There are many tracking technologies that law enforcement are using in this day and age. Using newly developed technology may help law enforcement capture criminals much faster. Also, this enables officers to respond more quickly to a crime scene. Using some of these equipment can save a person’s life with a quick response.
Technology has more negative effects on today’s society than positive. Due to technology in the past few decades Canine Shock Collars have been increasingly popular. Students in school pay more attention to texting than they do their classes. Violent addictive video games have made their way into American homes. Parents encourage their children to not text as much, but them to face the problem of constant communication. The Internet gives the students easier ways to cheat in school, and reinforces laziness. Internet Porn gives every bored male a chance to look at the seediest film in the comfort of his own home. Technology has taken the innocence and mystery away from the American family.
...r phones update our minds suffer another loss. People are slowly losing their independence to think for themselves and the ability to rely on their own intelligence instead of a computer`s. When this happens, it can endanger the proper development of the personality and hamper the social relationships needed for life together in society. The more we succumb towards technology, the less personality we are capable of retaining. It`s come to the point that the smaller our devices get, the smaller our brains get as well. Technology has vastly improved over just a short amount of time, and societies` dependence on it is strengthened more and more with every day that passes. Yes, it makes life "easier", but the easy way out isn`t always the best way. People don`t just depend on their technology for help anymore. It has come to the point where they depend on it to survive.
My experience with this technology has been very interesting. Growing up I didn 't use technology alot since I spent more of my time outside or reading. I didn’t not really have a smart phone until my senior year of high school, so it didn’t play that big of a factor in my life. When I did get a Smartphone it wasn’t a big deal to me I treated it the same way that I treated my other phone. To me it was nothing special and I felt there was better things to do. I wasn 't a big fan of social application unless they were games or tumblr. When I got the I phone 6 that when I really started to be invested in my phone. Now a day’s My phone is my life everything I need is on my phone , from when my school work is due to all the contact I need. To me it really does make a difference in my life because it seem know that I am always connected to my phone which is a nasty habit.
