Strengths and weaknesses, we all have a list of them.
It is a typical stereotype that some people are just born with natural talent for a certain thing, whether it be a sport or a subject in school. I believe that stereotype couldn’t be more wrong. Becoming perfect at something takes time and effort. In reading and writing in particular, I believe I am still learning in the subject. Some of the weaknesses I posses in reading and writing include the fact that sometimes I use the wrong punctuations and sometimes grammar. Another would be the fact that more often than sometimes I experience what I heard is called, “writer’s block”. However, I do believe the fact that I am open to learning new things to help strengthen my abilities in both

When I would get an essay back in high school there was always at least one correction in grammar that my teacher had to let me know about. Often times, I believe it’s the fact that when I have a burst of ideas I tend to want to put all down as fast as possible. I know that shouldn’t be an excuse however. So part of this weakness would also be the fact that I need to learn to go back more than once to correct any mistakes. Another weakness is writer’s block. I’m not quite sure that this can be counted as a weakness but I believe in my case it should be. When I experience writer’s block I believe it wastes too much time that can be used to correct my work. I tend to have to do something else unrelated to ease my mind and feel a bit more light and able to come up with more ideas. Honestly, I believe this weakness is worse than the previous weakness I mentioned because of the time that it consumes. Although I have weaknesses that can possibly slow me down in the subject, a strength that I do have is the fact that I’m open to learning new things. The fact that I’m always open to learning new things can help me overcome the weaknesses that I do have. I believe the more I learn, the more my weaknesses will tend to not matter because they will soon become almost nonexistent. That is exactly what I want, for my weaknesses to no longer be
Once upon a time there was a young maiden named Cinderella who lived with her wicked stepmother and two ugly stepsisters. There was a ball where the Prince danced with a beautiful maiden. However, at the stroke of midnight, the young woman fled the ball, dropping one of her glass slippers along the way. The next day, the King proclaimed that the Grand Duke visit every house in the kingdom to find the girl who fit into the glass slipper, so that she can be married to the Prince. When the Grand Duke arrives at Cinderella’s house, her stepsisters try on the slipper, but it does not fit them. Then, Cinderella appears, tries on the slipper, and it fits. Soon after, Cinderella is happily married to the Prince (Cinderella). This is Disney’s 1950’s account of the classic fairy tale Cinderella, which greatly differs from the Brothers Grimm retelling. The Brothers Grimm story is filled with violence and misfortune, not with fairy godmothers and singing mice, as in Disney’s version. In the Brother’s Grimm account of Cinderella, when the first stepsister’s toe is too big for the slipper she cuts it off. Similarly, when the second stepsister tries on the slipper she cuts off her heel to make her foot fit. However, the Prince realizes each of the stepsisters has deceived him and does not take them to be his wife. Then, Cinderella tries on the slipper, it fits, and the Prince takes her as his bride. At the wedding, pigeons peck out one eye of each of the stepsisters for their wickedness and falsehood (“Cinderella”).
I believe that everyone has their own strength and weaknesses, but not everyone is able to figure out their strengths and weaknesses correctly. Knowing our own strengths and weaknesses is essential because it can help to achieve success in anything we choose to do. For me, my weakness is the time management, communication skills and weak in preparing effective Curriculum Vitae (CV) Below will be further explaining all my personal weaknesses and the ways to overcome it.
The weakness I portray are very difficult for me to think of. I know that I have quite a few but to change them is something that I have not full conquered yet. A weakness I know I have is sentence structure. I am not very good at putting sentences together and making them strong and well developed. Another weakness that is obvious is word choice. I don't always know the exact wording to use in different parts of a paper, this makes it hard to understand sometimes not very well written.
Over my career of schooling my writing has changed dramatically at times and very little at others. Through my years of schooling people have determined my main weaknesses and strengths that I should work on with my writing. My biggest weakness is writing introductions and conclusions they must be so complicated and require so much thought to be defined as good. I excel at writing body paragraphs and explaining all the facts that back up your main ideas though.
These strengths and weaknesses were mainly discovered through the papers that we have written. I have many strengths when I’m writing papers and at the same time, I have many weaknesses. In my papers, I have noticed that one of my biggest strengths is how articulate I am. The papers that have been written by myself show that I structured sentences to present ideas in different ways. It is not straightforward and boring when ideas are presented. I like to keep the reader hooked on my paper. In order to keep up with this strength, I like to read articles. The articles I read are typically the ones that present new ideas or start arguments. This is one of my strengths that I am very proud
Throughout my life, my work ethic, my mental strength, and the skills I have learned, are largely because of my athletic background and all of the things I have gone through with them. To be good at sports, one does not have to
Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. As Roth states in Strengths Finder 2.0, we as a present day world tend to focus on and try to overcome our weaknesses rather that building up our strengths. Using our natural talents can help us do the best we can and help us be a better asset. After taking the strengths assessment, I found that my top five strengths themes ended up being: relator, discipline, competition, responsibility, and significance.
For personal and professional growth, given my personality traits, I need to embrace my strengths and weaknesses. I must use my strengths to my advantage, to be more effective academically and in the workplace, but I also need to identify and try to overcome my weaknesses, especially professionally.
One strength I saw myself, as having when I enter college is being able to understand and critical think about a essay/article that I have read. However, after taking English 101, I have now learned that this is a strength of mine as well as a weakness.
Throughout my entire writing career I have always had difficulty writing. For one I have never enjoyed it because I am usually not interested in the topic. I also seem to get writers block half way thru whenever I write a paper. My final big problem with writing is that I always procrastinate before I have a paper due. My main problems with writing are procrastinating and having writers block.
In this paper, I am to write about my strengths and weaknesses in writing. This is not an easy task for me because I have never considered myself a writer. Reading other peoples thoughts are activities that are more my speed. I simply have trouble putting my thoughts into writing. Since, I do not feel that I have many strengths, let's move on to my weaknesses.
... strength in creating the lesson plans for each subject was utilizing lesson plans that I currently use in my Kindergarten classroom. My weaknesses in writing the lesson plans was analyzing the lesson plans and describing the teaching methods utilized, and identifying the type of assessment, either formative or summative, for each lesson. I feel these were weaknesses because these were areas of the lessons that I had to be a little more reflective over to determine the teaching methods being used, and how I was assessing the students during the lesson. However, I feel that this weakness is actually another strength that was developed after completing the assignment. As an educator, becoming more cognizant
To begin, I am going to write about my weaknesses and how they transitioned into strengths. First, I remember after each assignment in class was introduced I
In conclusion it is very important to develop all the weaknesses I have in my professional career. I must continue to plan and evolve to hopefully become successful in my future career whatever that may be.
