Individuals Wrapped Around Impatience
“No cuando sale el sol caliente, si no cuando va subiendo” is capable of depicting numerous people living with little patience and who yearn for quick, simple results at the peak of their actions. What is difficult to comprehend is that impatience can be the destruction of one’s satisfaction and even pride at times. Impatience may seem perceived as the root of multiple problems and it tends to stay in one’s mind for a while considering its impact that occasionally has an advantage to the lucky ones.
Those who struggle with this quality tend to contain it in order to mature in growth and continue in their daily lives as well as remain on the optimistic sides of all edges. Although many individuals do not

When consistently setting oneself up for failure, one tends to be controlled by ideas of themselves becoming the same failure. For example, painting is a self-paced work that entails one’s time and effort to create a masterpiece. Like any other way to reach a goal, time must be spent working towards it until one is accurately above it. When adding layers of colors onto a canvas, the artist is required to wait till the paint dries to ensure that the colors do not mix with one another. If the artist uses the next color before it is dried, what was attempted becomes destroyed. This one example correlating to life lessons that depict how one needs to take their time and not be too hasty in their actions to finish something. Considering the effort spent to get to where he was, his impatience leaves him with time wasted and the halt to any other propositions. His impulsivity, the “lack of planning before acting” resulting in such a disaster for other future successes ( Cyders ). It just goes to show that the best route to take is with patience to graciously accomplish rather than rush and …show more content…
With nothing such as time, that happens to be the greatest impact to impatience, anyone would have true satisfaction even though it would take awhile to claim it. My mom and I constantly go to clothing and furniture stores that have amazing sells if you get there at the right time. Most of the time, if one waits a few weeks for a certain piece of clothing or work of art that is priced at its fullest, the price will lessen if no one buys it. She would always express “ If you see if more than twice, then it’ll more than likely be on clearance the third time and it’s meant to be in your closet.” Despite what’s been already stated, everyone will reach a success but the success varying is what will be different for those who wait. This compared to those who hastily decide within their options from the effects of impulsivity, “a synonym of impatience” ( Rambaud
Most people throughout the world strive for success in each task they take on, and along with this, many reasons contribute to why they succeed or not. If a person does not succeed, they may automatically blame themselves because of their level of strength. Others may blame themselves for not having enough knowledge about what they are trying to succeed at. The real reason that people may not succeed, however, is their lack of determination and happiness throughout his/her journey that is demonstrated in the book Outliers: The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell.
The emotions associated by an environment enable personal growth over a lifetime. Negative emotions like hopelessness, anger and sadness all influence and alter people deeply, leaving them
“No choices will always be right. There are ways however, to make our choices better.” (63), The chase to increase one’s performance and eventually achieve perfection has created numerous opportunities. Whether new innovations to increase productivity or faster machines to speed reactions times, new opportunities for humans to improve their performance occur every day. Still at the most basic level, where all technology is stripped, humans are naturally built to find the path of least resistance to finish their goal, very rarely will they properly finish every step in a goal regardless of innovations granting more time for decisions.“We always hope for the easy fix: the one simple change that will erase a problem in a stroke.” (21), corners will likely be cut, and steps will inevitably be skipped. Even doctors who have lives depending on them will make mistakes. For example hospitals ar...
It is the challenges we face that make it look dark and gloomy. The key to a productive existence is not the emotions we feel when presented with adversity, but in our ability to overcome, grow and evolve. In comparison, examine the Spoken Indian searching for hope in hardships, or the extraordinary taste and smell of the wine connoisseur who lacks sight. See the trial & errors or the young man growing to love both parents, and the college student whose heart is blistering with pain from the loss of his mother, but finds healing in his new home as an emerging scholar. We are all exploring methods to handle
Self- Acceptance is an important characteristic to have. Self- Acceptance is defined as being realistic about oneself and at the same time comfortable with that personal assessment. (Farlex Dictionary) Zora Neale Hurston wrote several works promoting self- acceptance.
In today’s society we often have an all too-casual attitude toward misfortune; Jackson shows us this aspect of human nature through the town’s casual attitude toward the lottery. The men talk of "rain, tractors and taxes" and the women gossip—all the time knowing they are about to kill someone or be perhaps even be killed themselves (Jackson 863). The thing that is most important to them is to hurry up and finish so they can eat lunch. Perhaps the feeling of being in a hurry makes what they’re about to do easier; they don’t have time to let it bother them. How often in today’s society do we hear the phrase, "just hurry up and get it over with"?
Adversity provides the fundamental stimulus for the development of integrity and a mature mindset, allowing the amelioration of former errancies and expansion of perspective on life, and this furthers society’s progress towards idealism.
Personality predispositions can determine levels of extraversion, which determine the levels to which one seeks social support, thus determining positive affect. Similarly, personality predispositions can determine levels of neuroticism that may influence one’s style of coping in the face of both positive and negative external factors which can determine negative affect (Diener, 1996). Happiness, a core aspect of positive subjective wellbeing, involves maintaining a superior level of positive affect in comparison to negative effect, based on specific positive or negative emotions linked to the recent experiences in one’s life (Emmons & Diener, 1985). Positive emotions such as joy and pride must trump negative emotions such as frustration and sadness in the recent past or present in order for an individual to feel happy. Life satisfaction builds on this and is a cognitive valuation of the quality of an individual’s experiences as a sum throughout their entire life (Emmons & Diener, 1985). Individual personality traits have been found to influence the different patterns and levels of life satisfaction, positive and negative affects and simply general, overall happiness (McCrae, 1983).

Erik Erickson’s eight stages of psychosocial development is argumentatively one of the best theories to explain how human beings should healthily develop from infancy to late adulthood. Every stage of the theory must be successfully completed for optimal human personality growth. Stages that are not successful completed may result in reoccurring problems throughout one’s lifespan. Every stage is broken down by a psychosocial crisis, each with a conflicting matter that must be resolved. If the person fails to resolve this conflict, they will carry the negative trait into every remaining stage of life. Furthermore, if the person successfully resolves the conflict, they will carry the positive trait into every remaining
Most people deem that having a strong ego is a bad thing. However, I feel that my ego is the greatest asset in my personality as an optimist. There is a combination of three characteristics that make up my optimism. They are my strong determination and tenacious will power, good strong work ethic, and my positive morals as a person. The mixture of these characteristics makes my strong ego, which in turn makes me an optimistic person.

Growth can be seeing the brighter side of a situation, even if it seems like all hope has disappeared. Growth can be the transition from feeling hopeless to having a positive outlook on life and every life experience. Victor Frankl poses a question. He asks how one can remain optimistic in the face of the “tragic triad”, consisting of pain, guilt, and death. Using Frankl’s life experience as an example, how does a Holocaust survivor remain optimistic after such a painful experience?
Imagine a painting of your life, what colors would be there? How would you show the different times in your life? Would you shade the areas where you had a hard time or use lines to show that? Being a artist that never truly finishes their work would be hard. When you are young, your enthused about painting. As you start to get older, all you want to do is visit with friends, so you miss that part of your life. Then you get back on track and work like crazy to make up wasted time. But you think to yourself “Will I ever finish my masterpiece or will it end when I do?”
Even Thomas Edison agrees with having patience is a key trait to master to be successful in the goal you have for yourself, here is what Thomas Edison said, “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” This shows that a lot of people started to become impatient once they were very close to clench the glory that they were about to achieve, so this shows that you always need to be patient for the opportunity of when your close to your achievement and to never give up. With patience you will always have remarkable results. That is because a person who is dedicated to their goal, will see the marvelous results that will happen because they didn’t give up, whenever a person is trying to achieve something they always need to keep in mind that what they want to achieve doesn’t happen
