What gives me success? The answer to the questions lies with two people, my parents. Throughout my 17 years of life my parents have contributed to my success more than anything else.They have taught me to find a dream and do all you can to make it happen. My parents have taught me to have a good work ethic. To always work hard no matter how small or large the job is. Finally, my parents have always taught me to be patient. I would never wait as a child. mostly due to the fact that I was extremely energetic and was always ready to do something. Patiences is a vertue and I believe that my parents wanted me to learn that lesson while I was young. Dreams are an important part on the American society. My family and I live on an acreage outside of Marion. Since we have a substantial amount of property we also have to take care of it. My summers are full of mowing weeding and general yard work. Throughout my life I have been taking care of the property I call home. And it has not been easy. 2 summers ago we had a giant windstorm blow down 95% of all the trees on our property. before the loggers could come and take the logs that they wanted away we had to clean up the general area. This was a grueling and tedious task that couldn't be done in the heat of day. So we had to wait until evening to start. luckily this only lasted a few months before my parents gave up and called a local landscaper to remove what was left of the trees. My job is another prime example of needing a good work ethic. A good employee is someone who works hard. people don’t want to hire a lazy person. In our society today people that work hard and care about their job are become increasingly scarce. A good work ethic and a moral compass are things that can put you ahead in this world and my parents knew
