Many homeowners use their garage doors at least once or twice a day, which can cause them to break down over time. There are common signs that point to doors needing to be repaired or replaced. One common sign is loud sounds like clicking, cracking, popping or squeaking when the door is in use. Usually, this is a strong indication that there are broken parts that may be beyond repair such as springs, cables, wires or rollers. If the door is hard or slow to open or close or if it shakes or quivers when in operation, it is likely a sign that the door has needs to be replaced.
