Windows 95 the O/S of the Future
The way of the computing world is changing at a neck breaking pace. People are looking for computers to be easy to use, and to make life easier for them. The computer manufactures and software developers have started to tailor computers and programs to fit the needs of the new “computer age”. Graphical Interface
Software (GUI) began to make computing easier and people who never dreamed of owning computers began to buy them. Macintosh was one of the first GUI computers to hit the market, but it was not IBM compatible, so it did not take over the mainstream of the computer industry. Since most computers where being make to fit the IBM compatible standards, Microsoft saw the need to replace DOS
(Disk Operating System) with something easier to use. That is when they developed Windows, which covered the difficult to use DOS with a new face that made computing easier. The first Windows was a start in the right direction. In an effort to make computing meet the needs of the public, Microsoft developed
Windows 95.
Windows 95 has the appearance of being a completely user friendly operating system and it pretty much is as far as the average user is concerned. The compatibility with most hardware makes it easy for someone to upgrade their computer. The desktop is designed so the user has point and click access to all their open and closed programs. Utilizing the 32 bit programing it was written with, users are able to work with more than one program at a time and move information between programs. This gives the user the freedom they need to begin to explore the world of computing without having to learn all the “ computer stuff”.
Today everyone wants the fastest computer with the best monitor and fastest modem this was an interrupt address nightmare until Windows 95 was developed.
People didn't know what jumpers needed to go where to make their hardware work.
Or why their CDROM wouldn't work since they changed their sound board. Most hardware periphials have all the configurations built into a chip that communicates with Windows 95 to find out where it needs to put itself in the address map. This allows users to have fancy big screen monitors and connect to the Internet with high speed modems. They can also put in faster video cards that use all the nice Windows 95 features, thus making their computing less complicated Windows 95 is set up with novice users in mind. As with Windows 3.x, it has boxes that open up with the program inside called windows.

It also includes pair programming where two developers work on the same pc, while one typing and other offered advice. This improved programs productivity and decrease error.
As the internet is becoming faster and faster, an operating system (OS) is needed to manage the data in computers. An Operating system can be considered to be a set of programed codes that are created to control hardware such as computers. In 1985 Windows was established as an operating system and a year earlier Mac OS was established, and they have dominated the market of the computer programs since that time. Although, many companies have provided other operating systems, most users still prefer Mac as the most secured system and windows as it provides more multiple functions. This essay will demonstrate the differences between windows
to replace the IBM machine. In the 1960s and the 1970s IBM came out quickly and built a
In 1985 the company produced (in China) the first computer of its own design (the "Turbo PC").
Windows hardware’s has played a vital role in current technology of computer era. Computer application has significantly changed the workloads and manual records and information keeping has been significantly managed easily. This has been tremendously associated with the respective improvements with the software and hardware application development and Windows Xp and windows 7 have been most powerful operating system used by many computer applicants and users.
Since human beings have used Computers , the request of being rich ,and getting more information quicker than before has increased . Have you ever found yourself rushing from one computer to another in your office or home ,attending to several different jobs at various location? Or do you often find yourself moving files that need printing from a PC that you happen to be working on the PC that is Connected to the printer ?
Yesterday my dad came home with a new thin laptop from work, this brought me back to my childhood. When I was 5 years old my father was employed to TD bank. Shortly after being hired I (a starry-eyed pre-computer nerd kid) recall him coming home with a big 10 pound workhorse laptop he carried through the years to do his work. Although computers are becoming more compact through breakthroughs in hardware, this is not the reason for my father’s new laptop. An article I’ve recently read brings up the point that users no longer need powerful desktop computers. While companies previously required employees
must have several programs up at a time in order to figure out where to place the

In 1953 it was estimated that there were 100 computers in the world. Computers built between 1959 and 1964 are often regarded as the "second generation" computers, based on transistors and printed circuits - resulting in much smaller computers. 1964 the programming language PL/1 released by IBM. 1964 the launch of IBM 360. These first series of compatible computers. In 1970 Intel introduced the first RAM chip. In 1975 IBM 5100 was released. In 1976 the Apple Computer Inc. was founded, to market Apple I Computer. Designed to Stephen Wozinak and Stephan Jobs. In 1979 the first compact disk was released around 1981 IBM announced PC, the standard model was sold for $2,880.00.
Now for computers in the schools, I feel we will soon have no books and all work will be done on computers. Even homework will be done on the internet and e-mailed to the teacher. Children will be taught about computers at a younger and younger age. This in turn will make the younger generations more and more skilled in electronics and understanding how they work. This will have a very large impact on they way projects and or work is viewed.
Microsoft Windows is a graphical operating system that was developed by Microsoft. Microsoft has designed and developed a series of these operating systems since they opened shop. Since Microsoft began developing operating systems they have grown remarkably in terms of usability, graphical interface, speed, and most importantly security. In this paper we are going to take a closer look at the security features that are built in the latest windows operating system which is the Windows 8 operating system. We will also discuss the security services that are provided by the Information Security discipline. Furthermore we will discuss how the Windows 8 features are categorized to the security services provided by the ISO 7498-2. Before we take a look at windows 8 let us go through a short background of the windows operating system from start to date. We will then briefly look at the security features of these earlier versions of operating systems and compare them to the windows 8 security features.
