Would you enjoy school more if they added a trampoline to your gym? Trampolines come in many different shapes and sizes and can be so much fun. Children and adults enjoy jumping on this unique invention and even though there are risks, you can prevent any injuries very easily. I believe that we should have a trampoline at our school because they bring joy to people, it's a good source of exercise, and helps improve people's balance.

Dodgeball is a game of many facets. On one hand, it is a game that encourages everyone to stand up for themselves since everyone is on their own team, while on the other hand, it is a game where you aggressively pummel others with balls and pick on the weak. As a result of the varying possible viewpoints of opinion, some schools ban it, and others do not. The logic of some schools is that it labels others as human targets. On the contrary, it can encourage people to figure out who is weak and strong and how they could deal with these personalities. My observations included watching my neighbor’s children on their trampoline. When I was observing, I noticed a lot of developmental differences between the oldest and youngest siblings. The oldest was a 6-year-old girl jumping on her trampoline. I could tell the girl was very passionate towards her workout. The first 5 minutes of my observations included her being by herself, while her younger brother was playing in the grass with his red truck and train. His full attention was on his toys for a while. I never realized how focused some kids can actually be.

Sport at school should NOT be compulsory. Sports training and PE take up time that could be better spent learning other subjects, and PE and Sport are not as important as other subjects like maths, science etc. It is also my belief that it students should have the right to choose whether or not we do sport/PE, because we are allowed to choose the subjects that are more important, so why are we not allowed to choose whether or not we do sport?Every year in PE, we do the same sports and the same practice drills, so after year 7, there is no point continuing to do PE, because the you are just doing the same things that you have done in previous years. 2 periods per cycle are spent on PE, 2 periods which could be spent on subjects like foreign languages, which are only allocated 4 periods per cycle or English or Science, which get 5 periods per cycle.
Physical education in school systems is beneficial because it improves students’ health. Without physical education the child’s overall health will decrease. Despite these benefits, some people believe that physical education has no value to children in schools. Physical education is significant in schools because it improves children’s health.
Physical education time is being cut in schools to give more time for students to focus on core courses such as Science, Math and Reading. Some districts have eliminated the course or do not even provide it. These courses, although are very important, should not take away from a student’s well-being. Physical education should be treated like every other foundational course because it is a necessary part of a student’s lifestyle that will benefit from every day.
