The horrid smell of odor all around the room, the crusty and nasty look of dry skin, and the sweat that is in the crevices of disgusting feet. The look of feet is horrendous, and toes that peak out of them are even worse. It isn’t hard to put on a pair of socks. It doesn’t matter if they are different colors, sizes, styles, or brand. Socks should be required to be worn. If students aren’t allowed to show their shoulders in school because it is too distracting, then they shouldn’t be allowed to show their toes. Toes are way more distracting. When you see gross feet, you get distracted and stare. They aren’t a pretty sight, and I would rather not see them at all. My biggest pet peeve, by far, is when people do not wear socks. Watching people …show more content…
I never wear open-toed shoes unless it’s needed. Being the only one in my family that always wears socks, gets annoying. Have you ever had someone touch you with their cold feet? Well, my siblings or friends would do it to make me upset. Minding my own business, I feel a cold foot on my leg. It makes me feel gross, because someone’s nasty feet have now encountered with my body. Sometimes people try to be funny and put their feet in others faces. If that happens to me, I will get pissed. Feet get sweaty and gross, then they start to smell. After that happens to them, and they are shoved in your face, I can’t do it. I don’t understand how some people don’t care. For example, people that work at nail salons. No way would I ever be able to give people pedicures, probably not even manicures. The reason why I hate feet so much will forever be unknown. Feet in general just give me a cringy feeling, they always kind of have. Sometimes, I wish that I didn’t hate feet. It is a weird, annoying pet peeve. The worst part about it, is that I can’t sleep with socks on, but I hate feet. My feet also feel claustrophobic really easy when I wear socks, but I just hate not wearing them. There is no possible way to get rid of this pet peeve, unless everyone’s feet were the same. If everyone had the same looking feet, they would be so normal and non-distracting. It would be
Over time, constant wearing of heels will lead to chronic pain and destruction of
Toenail fungus not only looks unpleasant, but it may also be painful. In some cases, it may lead to more serious problems if the person has been diagnosed with diabetes or have a weak immune system. Toenail fungus affects people of any age whether they have overall good health or not.
RYKA knows that women's feet are completely different from men's feet. While most companies will shrink a style in size and change the color to sell as women's shoes, this company knows that the structure of the foot is more delicate
1. Certain footwears: High-heeled shoes or footwear that is too tight in the toe box can pack your toes into a space that is not sufficiently large for them to lie level. This twisted toe position might in the long run continue notwithstanding when you're shoeless.
Contrary to this, common sense dictates that wearing shoes will protect our feet from harmful
The first pet peeve that drives me crazy is puke noises. The first reason why a pet peeve of mine is puke noises is because it sounds disgusting. For example, when people make fake puke noises and it sounds like they are seriously throwing up. Another example would be when people are actually throwing up; I can never tell which
We all know that shoes, aside from diamonds, are women's best friend. There had been an unexplainable debate on as to why woman are so lured and magnetized to shoes that it sometimes come off as downright disturbing. It had been accepted that shoes are there to act for its first purpose which is to aid the feet from its daily beating and as a piece in completing a girl's overall look. There had been many types and kinds of shoes that a girl can wear which ranges from the overly formal and sexy high heels, the trusted rubber shoes, the comfortable sandals, the colorful flip flops and the craze-worthy ballet flats.
If the cold weather this time of year causes your feet to itch, burn and develop painful blisters, you may be suffering from a common condition called chilblains or pernio.
Pet Peeve —noun: a particular and often continual annoyance; a personal bugbear. Everyone has one: those actions, words, personalities, or items that bug someone to no end. These are called pet peeves, and I, for one, have many. But I have to say at the top of my list would have to be people who believe they're entitled, blatant rudeness or disrespect for others, and rumors. These three things irk me to the point where my skin crawls.
Women are always searching for the right shoe. There are so many different styles, types, colors, and even heights. To me the two most common types are high heels and flats. Well, at least in today’s fashion those are the two most common. Both, if paired with the correct outfit are simply stunning. High heels offer a sexier look that’s nearly impossible to get from a flat shoe. Nevertheless, I feel very strongly about women in high heels. They make your legs look longer, butt look better, and they are sexier than flats. On the other hand, if you’re running around and being busy all day, nothing feels better than a cute pair of flats. Its time we hit the ground running as we explore the real similarities and differences of the two common types of shoes, in which I mean comfort, styles, and versatility.
Around one in four adults have tinea at a while in their lives (Crawford, 2009). Tinea is additionally an illness that is quite common to teenagers currently, notably to folks that are athletic and likes sports, it causes a haptic sensation within the foot, burning, pain, and scaling. It is caused by the infection of two types of fungus, the Trichophyton mentagrophytes and the Trichophyton rubrum (anonymous). Athlete's foot could be contagious or infectious disease and could spread from person to person or by walking bear footed on contaminated objects and floors. It's symptoms embody peeling, crackling, and scaling of the feet, redness, softening and breaking down of the skin, itching and
I also truly believe that shoes should be just for what they are a protection for our feet and our health not necessarily a fashion statement to be compared to with other people around us. Not only do I see shoes as a necessary object but, they definitely affect our way of walking and our health past the point of avoiding different bacteria and fungi. According to Live Science, “That 's because wearing shoes changes the way humans walk and how their bodies distribute weight. If you wear shoes regularly, as most modern humans do, those changes end up reflected in your bones and ligaments” (Baker,2008). Then, there is those as mentioned before who believe that design is more important. One of the male university students I interviewed as said that he depended on his outer image to make himself and his mood feel better. The matter could also come to be of how much pain is enough pain to stop wearing a certain pair of shoes. According to an article in The Wall Street Journal ,“No matter how big or small your feet, though, your shoes could be hurting them—or even causing permanent harm”(Holmes 2015) which could be the negative outcome of choosing design over
The human foot is an incredibly complex part of the body, it is made up of twenty-six bones which is fully twenty-five percent of the bones in the entire body. The structure of the forefoot includes the five metatarsal bones and the phalanges. The metatarsal bones are for forward movement and provides attachment for several tendons. The phalanges, also known as the toes, movement take place in the joints. The foot movement only has two movements; inversion and eversion. All the joints in the hindfoot and midfoot contributes to these complex movements. The foot has two significant functions: weight bearing and impulsion, which both requires a high degree of stability. The foot must also be flexible so it is able to adapt to uneven surfaces. The various bones and joints of the foot are what allows the foot to be flexible. In order for the foot to be able to support any weight the various of bones must form an arch. The foot has three arches that are maintain by the shape of the bones and by the ligaments. The arches are supported by the muscles and tendons. A foot is a strong, flexible, and durable it allows us to daily activities as we please while carrying all the
What's in a shoe? Perhaps it was originally intended to protect one's feet from the elements but today the shoe has evolved from its practical origins to grandiose heights, and at the highest level is of course, the high heel. Heels are not something one simply wears on their feet, but a passion, hobby, personal expression, source of authority, sexual independence, staple of gendered feminine culture, mark of flaunted femininity, psychologically empowering, and joy. Women choose to wear high heels for many reasons; the key is that they indeed are the ones who proactively choose to endorse the high heel, often at the expense of their own physical com...
A uniform is a standard set of clothes that is worn by a group of people. These people may be members of an organization or a group of people having the same ideas. There are thousands of kinds of uniforms in the world worn by people, such as police officers, firefighters, doctors, lawyers, security guards, and even fast-food restaurant workers. School uniforms are a controversial issue in schools today. Many schools have already adopted a policy mandating school uniforms, while many more are still considering the change. School uniforms create an atmosphere of equality in which the students are able to achieve to their best, while attaining the most out of their education. School uniforms should be mandatory to unite the school community as one, to instil discipline among the student body, and to eliminate distractions that will help students focus more, which in turn will help our society.
