Recommended: Character as a Brutus

A hero is known as “A person who, in the opinion of others, has special achievements, abilities, or personal qualities and is regarded as a role model or ideal.” (Dictionary.com) Brutus should not be known as a hero, if his only special achievement was one that involved the killing of Julius Caesar. Julius Caesar was a man with many achievements, he was a strong military leader, he positivity inclined the debt that was in Rome, and he had the support of the townspeople. Since Julius Caesar was the one who changed Rome for the better, should he be the one known as the hero? Brutus should not be known as a hero, Julius Caesar did many things to shape Rome to be killed off so easily, he killed Caesar for self righteous reasons and, Brutus did
The towns people loved Julius Caesar, they all appreciated what he did for them a lot. If then that friend demand why Brutus rose against Caesar, this is my answer: not that I loved Caesar less, but that I loved Rome more (III. II. ) This is the reason why Brutus claims he killed Julius Caesar. Brutus should not be considered a hero if he went against a companionship with his friend. How can someone be a hero if he is not trustworthy? Julius Caesar was betrayed by his friend, Brutus.. Although Brutus should not have killed Caesar, there are reasons as to why he may be thought of as a hero for killing Caesar. Caesar was a human, humans make mistakes. Caesar was the one of the people who assisted in the killing of Pompey. There were many conspirators who did not agree with this action. The conspirators did not agree that Julius Caesar should have killed him. The difference between the killing that Julius Caesar did and Brutus is that Brutus was talked into what he committed.
