1. Viking death ritual would be to burn or bury their possessions with them.
*the reason why they would do that was to show respect and loyalty towards the Vikings that was important.
2. Vikings were very hygienic.
*Vikings were very hygienic because they would find stuff to use to have a good hygiene such as hunting animals for their bones to clean out their ears and they would swim in dams to wash themselves. – Most Vikings would have a bath up to once a week.
3. Most Vikings were farmers.
*Most Vikings were farmers because they had to live on food to survive so they were known as farmers because they would plant animal crops and vegetables for their supper and they would trade their food with other Vikings for a valuable gift. Nearly all their houses were workshops.
*Nearly all the Vikings homes were known as workshops because they all had a important job to do and because the women couldn’t attend to any meeting with men they would have to stay behind and work in their houses such as making food/looking after injured people or doing craft things for trades and making sure that the weapons were all good and sharp for battle and the Vikings would classify their homes as a workshop because they are working in their homes and preparing stuff.
5. Mostly had a one room house.
*Vikings mostly had a one room house so they could have enough equipment for battles but at the same time have enough room for their Viking family to all stay in the house. But the Vikings house were normally huge so they could fit a lot of people in their and to have room to be able to move around and the have everything that they need in there. It was easier to have a one room house so when battle had arrived it would be easy to run to their weapons and go out to fight.
