I'm writing to you on the concerns of bullying. I agree that harassing people should be stopped sooner than later, because to intimidate people leads to negative actions in people's lives to the people that you torment. Which also causes our society to look bad, besides we’re not helping the people in our surroundings, everybody is judging each other in different ways, which shows that our community is negative.
In reality many deaths have occurred due to people being looked at negatively, also making people feel unconfident in themselves. That’s a loss to someone's family because the things a person says to one another that is considered bullying. Would you want to get bulldozed? Would you want to commit suicide because you’re a victim of being put through misery? Last but not least, would you want your family to have to go through agony because of bullying? If the harassment doesn’t stop the outcomes will only get worse. The world has enough going on in it today and bullying shouldn’t be on that list of things.

The outcomes of bullying are nothing but negative. Negativity isn’t needed in no one's life, especially if it causes some of the people to lose their own. I think it should be looked at as the way people make it be known, how people think it's cool and okay and even fun to bully people because they're around their friends and make them look like they fit in, when really it’s only hurting someone else. So i think it should be looked at as a crime so people would think about something twice before they say something to
Imagine yourself watching the News before you go to bed or while you are sipping your cup of coffee before you leave to beat the morning rush. Now imagine, the News without the coverage that involves bullying. Unfortunately this is hard to do because incidents that involve bullying fill the News. Bullying happens in homes, in schools, at work, in the military; and just about everywhere else. Bullying needs to be stopped immediately at younger ages to end the reoccurrence of bullying throughout everyday life.
It leads to many negative outcomes. Bullying is not good in any form. Bullying behavior is an immoral action because it is an act of humiliating and oppressing people. The so called morality in bullying is viewed by how a person is able to comprehend a moral and transgressive act. A high school student is at the age and should have the knowledge where they can realize they are bullying and all the other immoral acts they achieve. People who have turned into bullies seem to value their behavior. They value that they seem to be superior to others because they are more violent, bigger, and stronger. “In most high schools, a lot of the students that experience bullying are the students who go out for sports but are not good at the sports they go out for so they get bullied for not reaching the expectations of others”(Live Science). Bullying is a very cruel act, and people need to come together to attempt ending the negative impact bullying has on
Bullying is a serious issue in todays world. Research shows that bullying leads to failure in school, physical anguish, poor social/emotional development, and perhaps even death. Not only can bullying affect young in school, but also adults at the workplace. Without the courage of the witnesses to these acts, nothing can be done about bullying. Bullying cannot be ignored, and if it is, it will only lead to bigger problems and will cause more deaths. Without the proper communication and programs we provide, bullying will continue to threaten kids and adults around the World. Help us stop Bullying today.
First of all, how to define bullying? Some people bully and some get bullied for many reasons, but in some cases it could be very harmful and people should do some things to make the bullying end. One of the fine definitions of bullying is when someone is powering over another person by doing or saying mean effects. For example, as the “what’s bulling” article assumed, it is calling someone names or writing nasty comments about them, leaving them out of activities, threatening them, taking their belongs and damaging them, or forcing them do something they do not want to do (What’s bullying). People bully for many reasons; perhaps they want to look tough or cool, or just to catch
Bullying is defined as abusive behavior that targets someone’s gender, religion, race, sexual orientation, or nation origin. Laws against this kind of behavior in school should be in place. These laws help prevent suicide, keep society in order and morals intact while providing legal protection, and help prevent longer lasting negative effects.
Bullying is a problem that thousands of children suffer from year after year. According to U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, “bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose” (U.S Department of Health & Human Services. n.d, p. 1). Bullying is an issue that has been around for centuries. Although it has been an issue for centuries, it has not been till recently that it has become a huge problem. Bullying is an issue that people should be concerned about. It is an issue that people
Bullying is a serious issue and has an adverse effect that could lead to depression, anxiety, and worse suicide. To become a bully takes a long process, with the help from parents, schools, communities, and social media, bullies and bullying can be prevented.
Bullying has always been a problem within the past century and has become an epidemic. However, because of social media people are becoming more aware of the issues associated with bullying and how it has become a trend in today’s society. You turn on the news and you are hearing about kids being bullied and the end result is suicide. Bullying is occurring worldwide. Not only is it happening in our schools and social networks, but also in the work place. The various types of bullying that exist and the attempt to entirely eliminate them is not achievable because of individual and environmental factors.
Bullying is a problem. Bullying has been a complication as long as anybody could remember and has been the cause for some terrible things. Criminalizing bullying will not help stop it and may even worsen the problem. People need to set the right example for the children.Bullying should not be criminalized because bullying starts with the adults and the it is not the criminal justices problem.
Bullying is a very immoral behavior which leads to emotional and self-esteem issues to the target and in extreme or persistent cases it has been found to lead to suicide. The bullies should be well punished and counseled to stop the behavior.
Bullying is an issue that is a problem in society today. Bullying is any kind of unwanted behavior to an individual on repeated occasions which is a display of power over someone. Bullying is mainly common among students in school, and unfortunately, it happens in other places like at home between parents and children, and on rare occasions, among adults. When people began to identify bullying for what it is, it was only known as a physical aggression towards others, but over the course of time, bullying has moved from just physical bullying to verbal bullying, and power abuse in the workplace between co-workers in different ranks. In a book called Welfare Brat: A Memoir, Mary was bullied in school by boys on the streets, and unfortunately, she was verbally bullied by her mom. Bullying among children in the society is caused by different reasons, and affects its victims negatively.
“Researchers have conducted that at least 25% of all children will be affected by bullying at some point during their school years, and many of these children miss significant numbers of school days each year owing to fear of being bullied” (Bray, M., Kehle, T., Sassu, K. (2003). Bullying has become a major problem for our students and our schools. Children are missing educational time and are losing self-confidence because they are afraid or intimidated by other students. We, as teachers, need to reduce bullying in our schools and prevent bullying from being a reoccurring issue in the lives of our students in order for them to learn, grow and develop. Our goal as teachers should be “to reduce as much as possible-ideally to eliminate completely- existing bully/victim problems in and out of the school setting and to prevent the development of new problems” (Olweus, D. (1993).
Bullying has always been present within the United States. Although the issue has been around for a long time, it continues to grow and become more of problem. It is said that about 160,000 children within the United States are refusing to go to school because of bullying. Another statistic is that within American schools alone, there are an estimated 2.1 billion bullies and 2.7 billion victims (Dan Olewus, MBNBD). The numbers presented here are outrageous and although there are organizations to stop bullying, obviously there needs to be a new set of solutions. Any type of bullying presents problems to children, “Suicide, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trouble with the law, poor performance in school and work, and lack of involvement in socially accepted activities are some of the difficulties resulting from bullying (Austin, Reynolds, Barnes, Shirley). Of course, there is more than just a single type of bullying. Feeding ground for bullies can range anywhere from text-message or cyberbullying to physical bullying in schools. Also, bullies can begin to strike at a young age and could also be; teenage, middle-age, or even the elderly. Even though there are these many versions of problematic bullies, the largest bullying problems take place within the school setting: a place that is supposed to be safe for children rather than harmful. Although it seems impossible to completely get rid of bullying, these are a few suggested solutions; making the school informed on bullying issues, schools implementing rules on bullying, and having students positively use electronics to stop bullying.
Bullying of students in school is an abuse that affects and produces a number of negative experiences on the victim. It is proven that those students who bully do so merely because they see themselves superior than those being bullied. They use this as a tactic to make juniors fear them and show them that they are not equal in any way. Some will even bully as a revenge of the bullying they suffered in the past. I have been bullied before and I know some of the effects it could have on a person. Bullying is a serious cause of many issues and has effects that may be long lasting.
We all know what it is, and we know it’s not a good thing. Bullying has been around for ages, and has gotten worse as time has progressed. With all the technology the world has today, bullying is not only occurring at school and work, but online as well. Most individuals try to ignore a bully, but sometimes ignoring it makes the situation even worse. Bullying is a serious subject that needs to be looked at more. Individuals are being affected by bullying in a negative way, causing a lowering of self-esteem, depression and sometimes even suicide.
