People in the United States of America take advantage of countless things and one of those most important one is “work.” Americans don’t appreciate jobs/work like individuals who come to the United States illegally. Those individuals who come illegally to the U.S. almost come for the same reason and that to work. Those living here without being documented are Hispanic, frequently Mexican. When one thinks about America the first thing that comes to mind is “the land of the free.” In this world of the United States of America we are all treated equally, doesn’t matter what skin color you are or what culture you are from. Instead of working regular hours like most of us are, they work up to forty hours a week. For example, I know people who work two full-time jobs and that means they literally work up to eighty-hours a week. Even though working up to eighty hours a week does not give one the best quality of life, but it sure does put money in your wallet. I come from a Spanish culture and one of the things that we follow is taking care of family and that is the mindset of some of those who come undocumented. For instance, I am the first in my family to go to college, my mom is a single mother of three, and we live out of state. She works so hard to put me through here, from making sure my stomach is always full, to making sure I have clothes on my back. She works extremely hard so that pushes me to want to succeed so that she does not have to worry about anything when she is older and instead of me counting on her, I want it to be the other way around and her counting on me. I want to take care of her the way she has taken care of me throughout my years of growing up. Overall that is my mindset, and I believe it is similar to the mindset of those immigrants that come to the country to help and provide for their
