Why I Love To Visit New York City Essay

New York City is the most populous city in the United States. Also, New York is located in the Southern Eastern part of the United States. The city has many attractions that cause tourists come from all over the world. I love to visit New York City because it is unique and creative. Everybody there are themselves without them feeling they are going to get judged. My favorite place in New York City is 5th Avenue because there is always fun things going on. The city is always extraordinary and has a very different environment. I love to shop and explore new things in New York City. People usually go to New York City for three reasons: transportation, shopping, and points of interest. All of these reasons show how New York City is its own.

One common reason why people love/visit New York City is transportation. An example of this would be a taxi. Taxis are a great source of transportation because it can take you places, but you have to pay. Also, another example of transportation is the subway. The subway can take you to other parts of New York fast. The subway can be dangerous if you get lost or get off at the wrong station. The bus is also a good way of transportation. Many people take the bus if they don’t have a car. New York City has many types of transportation that

Another reason people visit New York City is because of the shopping. New York is famous for unique fashion and shopping. So many people shop in the city because there are a lot of places to shop. For example, 5th Avenue has the most well-known shopping. Stores, such as Henri Bendel, Saks Fifth Avenue, Tiffany & Co. etc.., go all along this street. Many movies have been filmed on the famous 5th Avenue, such as Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Another great shopping area in New York City is SoHo. SoHo includes many high end stores as well. Stores like J. Crew, Bloomingdale’s, and Prada attract lots of people to come there. Furthermore, shopping attracts people to Broadway too. Broadway is home to fashion and shops. Every store you can imagine is on Broadway. There are many more shopping areas, but those are the biggest and most mainstream.
The most common reason why people travel to New York City is because of points of interests.

Points of interest, such as buildings, skyscrapers, sculptures, make New York City special. One point of interest, or attraction, is the Statue of Liberty. When I think of New York, I think of the green statue holding the candle. It is the oldest sculpture in New York. Another example is Central Park. When I go to New York City, the hotel I stay at is right next to Central Park. A lot of people know about Central Park. Well known movies have been filmed in the park. Empire State Building is another point of interest. It is a skyscraper with 102 stories. New York CIty has lots of famous points of

interest.
In conclusion, New York City would have not as many people visiting there without the three attractions. Transportation is a good way to go from one place to another easily. Shopping shows fashion and uniqueness in the city. The points of interests have been around for decades and they show history in the city. These examples show that New York City is a great place to travel too. There are many famous places in New York City that people want to go see.
