You may think in the 21st century discrimination is a thing of the past, but now it’s making a comeback especially towards people of a different sexual orientation.Sexual orientation is a person's sexual identity in relation to the gender to which they are attracted; the fact of being heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual.In my opinion it is wrong to discriminate others for any reason, because we all have our flaws in addition to our own ways of living life,whether it be the right way or the wrong way.The question remains “Why do people discriminate others with a different sexual orientation?And, how far people will go to show discrimination and how does it truly impacts those of another sexual orientation?

Many parents often blame themselves for any perceived flaws in their children.Often the father feels it is a mark against their masculinity to produce a gay child. Other parents feel shame due to religious teachings. Still others are upset that their children don’t fit in with socially prescribed gender roles.This often causes the parent to distance themselves from the child at a time when the child needs the most
