It is natural for countries to follow a dominate religion that is practiced within their country without considering the religions that are less dominate in their country. Many countries will not consider the religions in which participates do not practice a religion or the participates believe that there is more than one god. A couple of examples of these types of religions are Janina and Sikh which are less dominate religions that are not often practices by the majority population. Many of us would follow society’s way of following or practicing the majority religion instead of following our own paths with our own version of how religion should be practiced. Being the oddball out of a community that practices one religion and the individual practicing another can lead to isolation within the individual, and may cause the individual to seek those who understand them the most who reside outside of their community. There are many problems that can arise besides being the only member that that practices the a non-dominate religion which can include: religious persecution, having to arguments with those who are practicing a different religion, or feeling as if you do not belong within your society. For example, those who practice Islam in the United States are often faced with being considered terrorist because they practice a religion that is different from the average Christianity religion practiced here in the United States.
