By firstly looking at Thiago Henrique Gomes da Rocha how Thiago killed his victims it shows me that it was act-focused killings. Thiago was shooting some of his victims, stabbing some and choke some. When Thiago performed his acts of killing it was fast, directly and no pleasure involved he didn't process the killings, which is showing that the killings were act-focused kills. With Thiago performing act-focused kills he can either fall into the category of the missionary serial killer, the comfort serial killer or the visionary serial killer.

In this case Thiago states to the police when they caught him that he had to kill and that he was in the mood to kill. This could be signs telling us that Thiago feels compelled to killing other people. In prison he even asked the police if he could kill an inmate if he cooperates with them, also proving that he feels compelled to murder. This kind of killer is usually killing because the killing will give him a physiologically release in their head. In my opinion, I believe that it was the situation with Thiago. Thiago stated that he has to kill and it was probably because it made him feel good and gave him the physiologically release in his head.
The motivation for a visionary serial killer is not sexual. By looking at Thiago´s crimes, there is no sex involved. He didn't rape the victims, no necrophilia or masturbation at death scene. Thiago´s crimes were not sexually motivated, the same as the visionary serial killer. A visionary killer neither have an ideal victim type, which fits Thiago since he killed young women, prostitutes, gay men and transvestites.
