The question, “are athletes and actresses paid more than enough”, have been surfacing for a while. The objective of this paper is to debate on whether athletes and actresses overpaid. People have there their reasoning’s and not everybody is right. To me, I feel like they are paid way too much. And here is my reasoning…
Professional athletes and actresses have been atop of the wealthy society for almost ever. Little kids grow up and see them and notice them as role models. As, they get older they understand that it’s not all that fair. Why should he or she get paid for being on television? What makes you special to earn more than a doctor when you’re not saving someone’s life?

Well think about what they have done to get where they are now. Any athlete and actor worked hard with dedication to get where they are. Professional athletes are human beings who work extremely hard every day to make a living to support their families and their selves. They are the main focus when it comes to fitness and health and are the highly talented people in the world in regards of their sports. Most “work” throughout the year for trying to stay in shape during the off-season or playing through their long and tired seasons that vary in games depending upon the sport you play. NFL players give each other rough contact from five to six months every year while playing a game every week. Basketball and baseball players aren’t as physical and dangerous as football players, while they play a much longer season than a football. Baseball players play 162 games that last from five to seven months long. The basketball season lasts the same amount that baseball do except they play 82 games. For tennis players, racecar drivers, and golfers, they are in season all through the year performing indifferent parts of the United States and even in different countries. The life of professional athletes is considered tough and tired-sum. A lot of people think they have an easy life and consider them lucky, but it’s not the life you would want. They travel from city to city and sometimes country to country. They are away from their family almost every day and constantly have the risk of an injury. What if a player tares a muscle? That player most of the time won’t ever be the same. And what if that player didn’t finish college? Nowadays, a lot of athletes do one year in college and go professional. With no education and not player the sport, what are they? They’re going to be a nobody. They travel all around the world trying to improve their game to be the best they can be as they play the sport they were dedicated and worked hard for. Professional
