Meaning behind “Whole lotta love”

“It's something that I personally need, something I just have to have.

We bottle it all up,

and when we go onstage we can let it all pour out. The song is very

good for us. I suppose in a way it's become a Zeppelin cliché, but

it's also a vehicle to other things... to

give people the chance of hearing things that we reckon are worth

hearing.” Quote from Robert Plant, Led Zeppelins singer. The lyrics

state the fact this song is about someone that does not feel love or

does not understand love fully and the singer is possibly trying to

reach out to them and understand the meaning of love. “I’m gonna send

you back to schoolin” This outtake from the lyrics represents the

singer trying to reach out to this person and teach them the meaning
