Nishan Panwar once said “sometimes, someone comes into your life, so unexpectedly, takes your heart by surprise, and changes your life forever.” When people fall in love, their lives are changed forever because they can’t stop thinking about them until they’re part of their life. In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, we see two young kids meet and fall in love and their worlds was changed forever. However, they did not have a happily ever ending because they both die in the end. After all the evidence I found, I believe the actions of Capulet and Lady Capulet (Juliet’s parents) and the Friar Lawrence are responsible for the deaths of the young couple.

He was the one that married Romeo and Juliet even though he knew that Romeo did not understand the dangers that came with the love of Juliet. Friar Lawrence even says “These violent delights have violent ends and in their triumph die, like fire and powder.” Yet he still marries the young couple despite the dangers. The Friar Lawrence was also the one that gave a sleeping potion to Juliet and did not tell Romeo in person about the plan. When Friar John tells him that he could not deliver the letter, he says “Now must I to the monument alone. Within this three hours will fair Juliet wake.” Friar Lawrence still didn’t do anything to let Romeo know about the vital information. When he gets to the Capulet’s tomb, he finds Romeo dead and hears the watchman coming. He tell a broken Juliet “Come come away. Thy husband if thy bosom here lies dead, and Paris too. Come I’ll dispose of thee almond a sisterhood of holy nuns. Stay not to question, for the watch is coming. Come, go, good Juliet. I dare no longer to stay.” By abandoning her, he gives her a chance to do something crazy like kill herself. If he had stayed with Juliet, she could have lived.
