Who holds the most power in the United States? Power. With great power comes great responsibility “the capacity or ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course of events.”(Dictionary).The person with this great responsibility is the President. The United States has a democracy which is defined as“a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state,typically through elected representatives”( Merriam-Webster). There is an election every four years,and citizens in the United States make their own decision on whether they’d like to vote or not. Every state has its own representative which is counted forth as either Democratic or Republican party. The Republican party is the conservative …show more content…

This strategic process creates the election , when won by either party it allows one who is now the president to have authority over both head of the state as well as the head of the government and Commander-in-Chief of the armed force. The President is essentially responsible for execution and also enforcing laws created by Congress. The President has control to persuade “we the people” into his decisions , he also has people under him/under control. However there are some cons to the president having the most power , when entering the presidency , there are many passcodes given to the president . Although , “we the people” would never place someone in office who puts the people under the danger. For example, Donald Trump not in a million years would one aspire for him to be the President of the United States. However he has been in office as of January 2017 , he has been placed into the political office but this causes an edge on the citizen of U.S. because Trump is one who acts off of immediate reaction not strategically , asking his team for advice or help before he is seen by we the people he reacts of of emotion and does not necessarily take the job at hand seriously. Which causes America to be placed into predicaments such as wars , nuclear weapons
