First of all, if Jorge hit Anfisa like she hit him, he would have been arrested immediately. Double standard I think, why wasn't she arrested. Second she was no model her face is average at best.

My friend brought a Russian woman to the U.S. 15 years ago. She was acting just like Anfisa. My friend was a hard working blue collar talented Teamster and did really well with a couple real estate investments, and own a large home in California with a pool and view of the entire valley he lived in.
He was the exact opposite of Jorge, he was smart with his money and no Russian was going to get him to spend any more than he wanted. She demanded jewelry and a BMW as soon as she got her. He told her she would get a ring in two months after her arrival if the relationship was strong but he would not pay any more than $3500.00. There would no BMW and with her attitude she would be lucky to get a VW. This is what he did, he got immigration forms to cancel her Fiances Visa and laid them out on top his bedroom dresser, She noticed them and questioned him about them. He said if your planning to leave, I will file these forms with immigration. She was shocked that he knew her plans, she denied it, but he told her, leave and go back to Russia and you won't have any immigration problems, but If run away to Connecticut, I will file the forms with Immigration and you will have to wait 5 years before getting another Fiance Visa.
