John Tyler was the tenth president of the United States of America. He was born on March 29, 1790 in Charles City County, Virginia. He graduated college in 1807 from College of William and Mary and his belief was Episcopalian. He married on March 29 1813 to Latina Christian and then remarried after she passed away in 1844 to Julia Gardiner. He was vice president from 1840 to 1841 when his successor died and he became president from 1841 to 1845. He was jokingly called “His Accidence” because he was the first vice President to take office of President by the death of his predecessor.

Thomas Jefferson was well educated; he attended private schools and at the age of seventeen he attended the College of William and Mary. Thomas Jefferson was interested in being a scientist, after learning that there was no opportunity for a career in science in Virginia he then studied law. In 1767, Thomas Jefferson was admitted to the bar in 1769, when Jefferson public career started he already owned more than twenty-five hundred acres that he inherited from his father who died in 1757. After marring his wife Martha Wayles Skelton whom was a young widow his property doubled. After the death of Martha’s parents, his property doubled again.

Supporting a Jefferson Republic, he started his political career. He was a U.S. Senator and he supported Andrew Jackson opposing the federalist. After that he joined with the Whig party to support his successor William Henry Harrison. He gained a lot of supporters for his campaign with William Henry Harrison. They won together. But after he got the position of United States, he changed his policies and overlooked his past values and promises. In the article named “A controversial President who established presidential succession” the author has stated “But soon after assuming his role in the White House, Tyler so offended his own party members that he was outcast from the Whig Party while still in office.” The people who supported him in the campaign were very unimpressed and left him after he changed his mind set. He got a lot of criticism after that. He was like a traitor to the county as he returned to his morals that supported Andrew Jackson, leaving the ideology of Whig Party.
