Statistics show that, believe it or not, tobacco is injurious to the user's health. According to www.cdc.gov, "Smoking causes about 90% (or 9 out of 10) of all lung cancer deaths in men and women." Even though tobacco is used world-wide, that doesn't mean it is safe to use. Tobacco can cause serious damage to important organs, but it mostly damages the lungs, and also does many other things other than just that.
Tobacco is very bad for the user's health, though many disregard it and use it anyway. It deals heavy amounts of damage to organs, but mainly the lungs. It causes lung cancer, or just cancer in general. There's also chewing tobacco, which causes mouth cancer, enamel / tooth decay, or both. It may taste good and be a good stress reliever, but the people around the users are better off without it, since they can breathe in the smoke.

That is true, but it's not only being used by men and women, it's also being used by teens (mostly starting at age 13 / 14), and children, breathing in the smoke if their parents are using it around them, if they are smoking.
