One needs to be aware of ones privileged position in the environment and act as an aid. One should ask for consent when dealing with children and those who are considered marginalized persons.

From the film, “Documenting the Face of America: Roy Stryker and the FSA/OWI Photographers”, we, the viewer, are able to gain an understanding about all that the photographers witnessed and how they handled each of the situations they saw. Arthur Rothstein, Dorothea Lange, Ben Shahn, Carl Mydans, Edwin and Louise Rosskam, Gordon Parks, Jack Delano, John Vachon, Marion Post Wolcott, Esther Bubly, Russell Lee, John Collier Jr., Edwin Locke, and Walker Evans are the famous photographers that are discussed in this particular documentary. Almost all of the things that photographers witnessed while working on this project were things that people who lived in the city would never have seen unless they have visited or were originally from the country.
A code of ethics provides a standard by which nurses conduct themselves and their practice, observing ethical obligations of the profession and providing quality care. To achieve its purpose, a code of ethics must be understood, internalized, and used by nurses in all aspects of their work” (Aliakvari, 2015, p. 494).
It’s his compassion for his subjects and his commitment to them that surpasses the act of making a pretty picture. Spending days with his subjects in the slums of Harlem or the hardly developed mountains of West Virginia, he immerses himself into the frequently bitter life of his next award-winning photo. Often including word for word text of testimonials recorded by junkies and destitute farmers, Richards is able to provide an unbiased portrayal. All he has done is to select and make us look at the faces of the ignored, opinions and reactions left to be made by the viewer. Have you ever been at the beach safely shielded by a dark pair of sunglasses and just watched?

Why It Is Important To Have A Professional Code Of Ethics. Part 1: A code of ethics is essential to a profession, especially a law enforcement agency in my opinion. A code of ethics will provide a starting point for the professionals and for others that they may deal with on a daily basis. It will also ensure fair treatment of members of the profession and the profession it serves. Ethics provides a framework for conducting essential information functions, instituting policies, and developing strategies for service.
The Code of Ethical Conduct provides professionals with a guideline as to how to address situations in the field in a profession manner by providing theory (ideals) and practice (principles) in four major areas which involve our ethical responsibility with children, families, colleagues, community and
A code of ethics are ethical principles that govern a particular line of work. These codes offer guidance to people when making decisions. The American Nursing Association is an organization that created the code of ethics so that nurses have a guide on making ethical decisions when a dilemma arises. There are about nine nursing code of ethics that nurses have to follow when they are working in the health-care field. The ANA Code of Ethics I think I will excel at is the part about the nurse practices with the compassion and respect for the inherent dignity, worth, and personal attributes of every person, without prejudice (Catalano, 2015). I chose this provision because I feel like I’ve been practicing this my whole life. I feel like this
Ultimately, these duties are crystallized in taboos and are observed automatically. Thus, are ethical codes of behavior born? And so, it is with us today. Ethics constitute the basic codes of civilized behavior, without which our environment, as we know it, would be impossible. Such rules embody the basic constraints each of us agrees to practice in relationships with others. We consent to these constraints in the knowledge that, in so doing, we make the existence of all, including ourselves, more
The codes of ethics are established to help, protect, and provide guidance to each individual professional on how to act in their respective profession and create an environment where ethical behavior is practiced and observed by everyone in the profession. By observing the code of ethics every member ensures that they are held to a higher standard when it comes to quality patient care and at the same time help eliminate bad actors in the profession. For example, every physician is held to a code of “do no harm” when it comes to patient care and every physician or medical student are required to follow this
Question 3 The woman who was actually dancing on the car believes that this is a breach of her privacy rights, in some cases this can be true. In the UK case of Campbell vs MGN, where the Mirror Newspaper published a story revealing that Naomi Campbell admitted to being a drug addict and attended a support group, this would be a breach of her privacy rights. Through the conclusion of this case, “the House of Lords accepted that the publication of a photograph of someone which reveals the subject to be in a situation of humiliation or severe embarrassment, even if it is taken in a public place, may be an infringement of the privacy of his or her personal information”, (Murphy and McGuinness, 2011, p.164). In this respect, the photo could be a violation of the woman’s rights because this would a situation of humiliation.
