People have the right to say what they want but, they shouldn't abuse it because then conflict among people will start. We live in a world full of diversity, believes and, different cultures. Because we live in such a world, it's not always easy to agree and get along. As a result, different views and opinions come. Due to these antics, l strongly believe there should be a limit to freedom of speech. l recall in 8th grade one of my classmates had told this girl that she dressed unladylike and that she should change her style. She went on to defend herself but, he replied saying,“It's a free country l can say whatever l want to.” At this moment l remember thinking does this person even know how much his words affect her? Does he know how people will view him now? Did he think before he spoke? l understood at some extent what he meant when he said “It's a free country l can say whatever l want to.” However, having freedom of speech doesn't mean you can say whatever you want, but it means you can say what you want …show more content…

Your words and Influence will affect that person, whether in a good way or a bad way the person is still going to be affected. Before you speak you think, you should consider is true? Is it helpful? Is it inspiring? Is it necessary? Also is it true? Words have power. You might not be aware of it but they do.Your word choices will either give an inspiration of intelligence or ignorance. your words can either assist or hurt. Your words will reveal what kind of a person you are or the opposite. When you think before you speak it just reflects on your character hinting, that you do not take the time to consider what words you will use, what these words will reflect on the other person or how they will be affected and feel about what you are saying.
