Though there are many pros and cons that come with marijuana, I feel there could be more pros than cons. Marijuana can help in many ways such as medical use, recreational purposes, and help the American Economy. There are very perceived cons to smoking marijuana; however, states such as Washington and Colorado have legalized marijuana, and have had much success. There more pros than cons when talking about this argument. Many may say there are more cons than anything. Cons such as gateway to other drugs, health problems, and harshness to the brain. Nevertheless with proper evidence these cons can be easily put to rest.
Marijuana also known as cannabis has been viewed as harsh drug that can lead to nothing but trouble. Marijuana is a cannabis plant intended for use as a psychoactive drug and medicine. There are many people that believe marijuana shouldn’t become legalize because it can cause a gateway to many other rugged drug uses. He states the Colorado marijuana in 2014 would bring in around $70 million of new taxes. With money like this, it could help build more schools and businesses, while helping stop illegal drug trafficking and smuggling. America has a major problem with drugs being smuggled in to our country from Mexico. While legalizing marijuana this could stop one of the most popular drugs being smuggled. This gives law enforcements more time to focus on other drugs being smuggled
