All novels and movies have heroes who struggle to save the day. No hero can go through their journey by themselves. Heroes and sidekicks are in multiple stories, novels, and movies and are responsible for having each other’s backs. Heroes and sidekicks are seen throughout the world, and they are viewed as the people who save our world. Heroes and sidekicks go through a crazy journey, but always finish off saving the day together. In the beginning, heroes and sidekicks strive together because of their polarizing personalities and their disagreements. Heroes and sidekicks occasionally have some disagreements, which can spark the cause to split up. For instances, when Spongebob is excited for a great start to his day with his best friend and sidekick, Patrick does not say what Spongebob wants him to say. In fact, it irritates Spongebob. As mentioned in the quotation, sidekicks can have extremely different looks, views, and powers in novels and movies. One example is found between Marlin and Dory in Finding Nemo. Marlin is a quiet fish just trying to find his son, while Dory stays happy despite not finding Nemo until the end of the movie. Being opposites can sometimes cause heroes and sidekicks to split apart. Not only that, but heroes and sidekicks depend on each other.
