¨We Were Never Here by Jennifer Gilmore¨ is a story of these two totally different people who fall in love when tragedy strikes for Lizzie and she ends up in the hospital.. And that's when Connor comes into her life. Although he has many complexities and is secretive so Lizzie works to figure him out. Throughout the book Lizzie starts to find herself during this time figuring out what she needs and is capable of. Lizzie starts to develop lots of determination, bravery, and a forgiving and compassionate personality through all these changes happening in her life. Lizzie finds out her bravery through all the things she and Connor go through trying to make sure she can find a way to see and be with Connor. Although it bothered her a lot at first and she said “ she ended up meeting up with him later. As they were at the lake house with him she said ¨ I layed Connor¨ (Gilmore, 258) she's finding herself happy even though Connor had lied to her. She's forgiving Connor and moving on because she loves him so much and is happier forgiving him being with him. Lizzie was with Michael one day and she says ¨ I felt Michaels hand touch mine¨ (Gilmore, 200) that made her very nervous as Michael had started to make moves on her. She realized Michael is not who she wants because she loves Connor. She didn't want to hurt Michaels feeling though so she didn't say anything to him. Michael realized Lizzie didn't like this and said ¨We could go back to bring just friends again¨ (Gilmore, 209). She was very happy and had said a bit before ¨I really wanted to be friends with Michael¨ so she was happy to have everything back to normal with her best friend. As Hannah drives off with Eva and everyone else in the trucks with bars for windows and the rest closed in left while watching helplessly as their houses and belongings burn to the ground never to be seen again.

He was murdered by his own brother; however, he was considered a traitor since he returned from exile and therefore was not allowed be buried properly. Antigone felt as his sister she must give him the proper burial. Kreon -the king of Thebes- was furious and sentenced her to death Later, he changes his decision but it is too late as she has taken her own life. These young, brave women are obviously similar while maintaining differences in their deaths.
