1. Goals: To become a well-rounded individual.
Objective: To gain the skills and knowledge in different levels of management.
During my summer internship I hope to gain the analytical skills and knowledge needed to become a succefully leader. The internship with Primer Long Island (affiliate of North shore LIJ) will provide will the opportunity to develop and strengthen my leadership skills. In order to become a successful leader I have to think outside the box. Working with a diverse group of individuals that have different belief systems and life prospective, it is important to open to the views of others. I will also focus on code of ethics and setting values that will help inspire dedication by each employee to deliver excellence in care.Impleting educational material such as a video followed by a short quiz, the material will provide educational material to help improve work efficiency and patient care. I will also implement mandatory monthly meetings by each department to speak about the daily operations and answer staff concerns or suggestions they may have to help improve daily operations or patient care.

3. Goals: To help improve the quality of care for low-income residence.
Objective: To offer the best care for each patient regardless of financial level.

I have worked in the healthcare field for over 10 years now. I am fortunate to have work in some of the top hospital systems. During my time working in the field I have work closely with knowlegble and talented Physicians in field of specialty.
