The Warrnambool Cheese & Butter Factory Co Ltd (WCB) is the oldest dairy company which still survives in Australia. WCB was founded at Warrnambool and their head office is located in Allansford, Victoria today. WCB has provided a huge range of high quality dairy products since it was established in 1888. Sungold milk is a one of its famous product which represents an Australian milk. Not only milk but also cheese and butter are their famous products. Despite Australia is considered as big dairy farming state in the world because of its huge land, WCB still continues producing dairy products with challenging toward to competitive dairy markets. As a promotion the dairy industry, WCB started the Adrian Meade Dairy Innovation Program which invites students who are interested in agriculture, manufacturing, food technology and so on to learn about more the dairy industry three years ago. It aims to encourage students to open their eyes to a range of careers in the dairy industry and the future of this industry. During the six-days program, students visit a range of farms and service providers, factories, food technology organizations and learn about WCB business, its products and how to process, milk quality, and transport systems. (Getting a taste for dairy, 2016, p1). This challenge promotes not only WCB and the dairy industry but also gives students special opportunities to learn the industry and their career through applying the program and taking the interview. Not only this program, but WCB accepts visitors from Asia’s dairy industry to show how clean and fresh milk is. It is a part of the Dairy Australia’s program to promote Australia. During this tour, visiter can see how milk comes together from the dairy farm to the factory. (Himmelreich, 2016, p.1).
