The least honorable character of Julius Caesar is Brutus. The reason Brutus is the least honorable character because he killed Caesar. He killed Caesar for the sake of Rome. Brutus did not deserve to kill Caesar for the sake of Rome. He stated that he loved Caesar but you can’t say you love someone and kill them. Caesar’s life was worth some much. Brutus could have done something else for the sake of Rome then to kill Caesar. Brutus is the least honorable character in the play. It is stated that in the text Brutus had loved Caesar. If one loves such another and still kills them then in fact that’s not love. Many say that Brutus killed him out of love for the sake of Rome but in fact it wasn’t love at all. So if you love someone and you killed them then you have had much selfishness and evil thoughts running through your brain. Which then, had canceled out the love you so called you had for that one person. Brutus is the least honorable character and the example that was stated up above should show and self explain to you why this such thing is stated. The example that was given was that Brutus had stated that he had loved Caesar but if Brutus had loved him then he would not have killed him. A person can not kill another if they have such love towards them it’s simply not possible. Love is something warm and it’s in fact positive connections that one has with another person. Killing someone is pure cruel, evil, and quite selfish. Therefore you can’t love a person and kill them in such a evil, selfish, and cruel way. Many have agreed to this conclusion.
