It was a hot and humid July 2, 2018 in Chicago today. It was also Vincent Puccio’s birthday. Vincent Puccio is me and I’m so excited to get my license today. I started off my day with a great breakfast with my mom. Then off to the DMV with my mom to get my license. We waited only an hour because we had gotten there early also it was miserable outside. I passed and drove off in my brand new bmw my brother had bought me. I drove to go see my Dad and show him I passed and my new car. It was after eating dinner with my Dad when my birthday went south. Trump announced the North Korea launched a missile at Chicago. It was an hour later that we found out the missed had missed and hit a strange object in the sky causing it to rain Chinese food. I gassed the car down the highway heading towards downtown to save my brother from his building downtown. I scooped him and dropped him off in a safe place. We then went to see what was going down. All the civilians downtown were scrambling from the scene like Mike Vick against the Jets. We needed to stop it before the storm spread and began hitting my neighborhood where my Mom, Brother, and Dad were safe. As it was pouring fortune cookies one landed in front of us and Kyle, the hesburgh suggested we see what the fortune is. He was right in saying that because it gave us hints on how to stop the storm. The fortune, that was actually a clue told us to climb on the Willis tower and you will find the next clue. We scaled the tower with just our hands and eventually made it to the top and found a fortune that read you must go higher to see what lies above. So we thought how we can get higher into the sky and fast before the fortune cookies began destroying everything. This is when it began to rain sushi and Luke came up to stack them and make stairs. We did this until we found the massive UFO that was causing it to rain Chinese food. We had to take the UFO …show more content…
I ran up to him and drop kicked him in the face knocking him him out cold. We flew the ship just above the water and shut it off jumped out and swam to shore. We were greeted by Donald Trump who said that we were heroes. After this day we became wealthy and happy and never had to work again because Donald Trump treated us like royalty. He became family to us and we lived the way he did. All this happens because of a friendship so
The nineteenth century introduced several great leaders into this world, many recognized by historians today. These men, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and others, have all been honored and commemorated for their contributions. One such leader, José Martí, continues to remain anonymous outside the Hispanic community, and hidden in the shadows cast by these men. His name does not appear in the history books or on the tongues of many proud Americans, for he was neither a citizen of America nor an American hero.
On August 23, 1927, Nicola Sacco and Barolomeo Vanzetti were executed in one of the most controversial legal cases in American history. Two men were shot and robbed in Braintree, MA, and two poor Italian immigrants were arrested for the crime. Although neither Sacco nor Vanzetti had criminal records, they both had pistols on them at the time, and followed a violent anarchist leader. Following their arrest, the seven-year case on the crime would drive national and international protests demanding their exoneration. There were numerous elements in the trial that influenced the guilty verdicts for the men including, but not limited to, weak evidence. The Sacco Vanzetti trial displays the social injustices and prejudice in American society during the time. It is evident that even though they are innocent, the court used Sacco and Vanzetti as scapegoats in this crime because of their beliefs and background.

In 1991 assemblyman Del Toro stated that, "The point of this conference is to say to you that you can do it too... You can influence how the government and how society goes on. And that's very important." Angelo Del Toro is a very good example that everything is possible in this world, if you believe in yourself that you can do it. However, for Angelo Del Toro it wasn't easy to become the leader that he became. It took him a lot of steps to get where he got. First, he started influencing people in his community, he moved to the city level, and later to the state level becoming an assemblyman for 20 years.
Viola Liuzzo, a young housewife and mother, devoted her time and her life to the Civil Rights Movement. My report will reflect the cause of her murder and how did her death and the mock trials of her killers cause a ripple effect across the civil rights community, judicial system, FBI and the White House. It will be discussed how her life would lead to the change of policies regarding the Voting Rights of the African Americans and why she is considered an important figure of the Civil Rights Movement.

That day. The date was Tuesday, January 26, 1999, and the entire city of St. Louis was anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Pope. The day started with a bus ride to Laclede’s Landing where thousands of high school students joined together and marched to the Kiel Center where the Papal Youth rally was being held. When the Pope finally arrived at around 7:30 PM, it was absolutely breathtaking. The Holy Father’s words covered everything from baseball, and Mark McGwire, to teen suicide. Even though I did not realize it at that moment, his words were about to become a huge part of my life.
