“Vaccines save lives; fear endangers them. It's a simple message parents need to keep hearing” -Jeffrey Kluger. In today's society there are many things that parents take offense to. The most common one being vaccinations. When doctors ask parents if they would like their children to be vaccinated a spur of conflict occurs. A common misconception is that vaccines will not help with diseases, but instead all they are doing is injecting that disease, along with others, into the body of an innocent child. Many parents have even gone as far as completely stopping the use of any medicine on their children. The million dollar question at stake is “Is it okay for children to not be vaccinated or properly treated for illnesses?” Vaccines can save children’s lives. These countries are the countries that have the most diseases. Due to the fact that they cannot afford to get this type of medical attention, the death rates in these countries are higher than those in other countries that can afford vaccinations. Science states that if those countries would vaccinate their people then the risk of illnesses spreading to other countries like America would decrease by an impressive percentage.
