Any relationship is unhealthy if a level of anger, stress, or sadness are constantly present and if it maintains a level of abuse, be it verbal-emotional or physical (Constitutes). There needs to be more awareness raised and assistance available to teenagers who suffer through unhealthy relationships, whether with friends, significant others, or family, which would all be considered domestic relationships. If society and individual people provide this support system, then victims may be more willing to come forward for help. Sometimes significant others will purposefully cheat for various reasons, including to prove they are more desired than their partner. They may also constantly monitor where the other person is at and who they spend time with. In a parental situation this would be acceptable, unless the monitoring is excessive and lacks trust. Physical abusers will use almost any tactics to threaten or hurt. Their violence may include hair pulling, punching, slapping, or kicking (Warning Signs). Erikson saw the development of inatimate relationships as the crucial task of young adulthood. The need to form strong, stable, close, caring relationship is a powerful motivate of human behaviour. An important elemen of intimacy is self-disclosure, ‘revealing important information about oneself to another’ (Collins & Miller, 1994, p 457). People become intimate and remain intimate through shared disclosures, responsiveness to one another’s need and mutual acceptance and respect (Harvey & Omarzu,1997, Reis & Patrick, 1996).
Teen violence could be prevented, with proper parenting. Low self-esteem is the leading reasons for becoming a teen violence target. As we know each relationship is unique in his own way, there are a few normal situations that can be an issue to teen dating violence. Most cases the abuser may have once been a victim or witnessed domestic violence themselves, situations that could impact this type of behavior, the abuser could have been raised with strict views on masculinity roles or they could have develop a level of anger management due to witnessed her mother being abused by their father.

The standard Psychology that has been the most prominent the past century has taught us that emotions are not good and detrimental to our thought process and overall health. However, I think it simply describes the homeostatic relationship between a person’s body and mind. Thus, a healthy state of mind is what enables a person to apply the right amount of mechanical force toward their physical work effort as they exercise. Consequently, if one side of the ratio becomes compromised it then creates a homeostatic imbalance of the relationship. Therefore maintaining the balance also maintains one’s health. Health psychology is a relatively new concept rapidly growing and could be defined as the biological and psychological influences affect ones behaviour also bringing in social influences of health and illness (MacDonald, 2013). Biological determinants consider genetic and biological factors of an illness whereas psychological determinants focus on the psychological factors such as why people behave the way they do when dealing with issues such as anxiety and stress. Models such as the Health Belief Model and Locus of Control were developed in attempt to try and explain psychological issues around a chronic illness such as breast cancer (Ogden, 2012). Sociological factors can cause an enormous amount of pressure for one to behave in a certain way for example gender roles in society and religious considerations when dealing with health beliefs. Health Beliefs can be defined as one’s own perception to their own personal health and illness and health behaviours (Ogden, 2012). There are also theories and models used to explain pain and coping with diagnosis such as Moos and Schaefer (1984) Crisis theory and Shontz (1975) cycle of grief people go through when being diagnosed with a serious illness.

In this sense, love has a special place in human affair. It has always been a universal preoccupation. It may be that lovers’ madness is part of the human condition. The connection between love and states of illness and madness has existed since antiquity. In fact, love is an illness that leads to many psychological and physical disorders.
Throughout most of my life I have gained friendships and relationships with others that have turned into long term, but others which only lasted a short while. The friendship that has greatly impacted my life significantly over the last eight years is someone who means so much to me. This meaningful friendship all started back when I was in middle school, which has grown stronger over the years. I met Brooke in middle school because we had some of the same classes and were in homeroom together. Our friendship developed quickly and lasted throughout our high school years. We became really close our Junior and Senior year of high school. But, maintaining our friendship hasn’t always been so easy. Today, we text and call each other on our free time, but I know I can count and rely on her when I need someone to talk too. I call her my second sister and vice versa. And when we go home on breaks we see one another as much as we can. The best part of our relationship is that if one is in need of advice or in need of a shoulder to cry on, we are always there for one another. Keeping in contact is very important in our relationship and communication has played a key role in our relationship.
“Relationships are what make up our world today, they shape the ways we see things and the way that we do things, relationships affect how we see the world today”. I believe supporting what your partner does, having a great sum of trust and showing your affections towards your partner is what will make a healthy relationship great.
As humans, we are constantly building relationships with others and meeting new people, but sometimes it 's hard to maintain a relationship with another person, when only one person is engaged in it. All healthy relationships or friendships should be based upon the concepts of caring, supporting, and spending time with each other, and if one person is not able to provide these concepts towards the other person, then the relationship quickly becomes one-sided.

Across the country, many people are living with pre-existing conditions, living in food deserts, living below the poverty line and a long list of other factors that either hinders them from eating healthy or force them to eat healthily. When trying to live a healthy lifestyle in this country not only does the promotion of prevention matter, but also the promotion of Career and job opportunities matter just as much.
