Familiarize yourself with underwater welding equipments
The use of the right tools for the job will not only let you to perform the job efficiently, but it will also help you to do it safely. That is why it is a must to know and familiarize the right tools and equipments that will be used for the job.
Underwater welding is a job that requires specialized underwater welding tools that you should be familiar with. Since welder-divers will be doing their job under water, they should know how their equipments work, how to use them and even few safety precautions to avoid accidents.
If you are planning to make a living on this profession, then little knowledge about some underwater welding equipment won’t hurt.

This is important for underwater welders because it will allow communications between the welder and the team on the surface that operates the welding machine.
Open-Circuit: This is the most popular commercial helmet for divers. It is using a non-return gas valve, so the air that the diver exhaled will be released into the water. It also has an anti-fogging lens and other modern characteristics that a diver would want.
Reclaim: Unlike the Open-Circuit, this helmet recycles the diver’s exhaled gas and send it back to into the system using the same

• Angled Accurately – This is to ensure that the welder can do his job even under different welding positions and visibility.
Underwater Welding Machine
Underwater welding is a job that works with a welder-diver below and a control team on the surface. This machine will be operated by the control team on the surface. This is the reason why communication between the diver and the control team is a must. The welder will signal the team to turn the machine with the right amperage, because the required power depends on the size of the electrodes.
Here are some qualities that a good underwater welding machine should have.
• Stable Power-The machine should provide a consistent and stable power. The power should not change without someone changing it.
• Duty Cycle – Duty Cycle means the time an underwater welder can use the equipment at maximum power. A higher level of duty cycle will be better since it will allow you to well full-throttle for a longer time.
• Direct Current- All underwater welding equipments should be powered with direct current. This is because welder-diver uses straight polarity which makes the electrode holder life

The reason for this is so that they know what they are supposed to be doing for that certain job. Welders are also to maintain their equipment and machinery. Meaning, have their machines all set to the right settings required for the job they are working on at the time. Inspecting structures or materials to be welded is another part of a welder’s job. They have to do this to be sure that there is nothing in the structure or material that could possibly cause any problems (The Occupational Handbook).
Now it is feasible to weld, starting from thin metal sheets of fraction of mm to very thick plates of virtually any thickness. The quality of welding is not restricted only to work done by the welder but depends on many other factors, viz. welding technique and its parameters, welding equipment, shielding medium, working environment, etc. The heat input rate is one of the most important variables in fusion welding, since it governs heating rates, cooling rates and weld pool size. In the welding of steel, this is important relationship since increased cooling rates increase the risk of hydrogen-induced cracking.
Welding is a excellent career choice for those who like to build things with their hands and have a strong attention to detail. It requires an extensive amount of knowledge and skill but for those who get a solid grasp of the respected trade they're rewarded with tremendous job opportunities and first-rate pay.
Welding is a very important job in today’s society. With new building designs, and bridges to every day metal products, welders are needed to do these tasks. Almost everything that you use every day has some sort of weld to it.

To start in the trade of welding one must have a high school diploma, but some schools offer welding basics while students are still in high school (“Welders and Welding Technicians”964). After high school people find out welding is one of the few jobs where you do not need any kind of permit or a college education, one can start by passing a weld test (Frazier, Patrick). Though most people did not grow up welding, many do learn from a community college technical institutes, trade schools, or the armed forces (“Welders”175). Many jobs will require you to pass an on-site test if you were to work on any kind of aircraft bridges, boilers, or pipelines (“Welders”176). You will have to learn to weld in tight places and awkward angles, and be in extreme heat or cold (“Job Outlook for Welders”). From there, one can weld as long as they want until they desire their own shop. Though having a welding business, they should have a certification in their name even if it is just a small
Skills of welding students welding program learn the art of heating and shaping metal, required classes may include advanced mathematics. To become a certified welder you are required for two year educational high school or college. Travel opportunities for welders you prefer the open or even the open ocean to a cramped office, life style of the ‘’road warrior’ ’welder could lead to an exciting career once you’ve completed a welding program, these travel bound welders are used to going across the country in order to work on huge projects. The advantage of becoming a welder you have plenty of travel opportunities your afford to work on land/or ocean.

Jonathan Atteberry claims, “T.I.G welding is difficult to learn and requires an elaborate welding rig of skills. It also uses a lot of electricity to make the welds clean and spatter less” (Parag 5). Welding is the most common way of permanently joining metal parts. In this process, heat is applied to metal pieces, melting and fusing them to form a permanent bond. Because of its strength, welding is used in shipbuilding, automobile manufacturing and repair, aerospace application, and thousands of other manufacturing activities. Welding is also used in the construction of buildings, bridges, and joining pipes in pipelines for power plants and refineries. The work that welders do and the equipment they use vary with the industry. Welders also study blueprints or specifications, calculate dimensions to be welded, inspect structures or materials to be welded, ignite torches or start power supplies, monitor the welding process to avoid overheating,
Throughout the three stylistically different opera acts, Don Giovanni constantly served as a character who created tension through his seductive nature at a wedding. Masetto and Zerlina were about the wed, but Giovanni rudely interrupted by commanding to move the wedding to his house with chocolate and wine served. Naturally, this made Masetto extremely angry, leaving Zerlina and Giovanni alone on the stage. He continued to seduce her, until she agreed to marry him. Obvious differences throughout the operas were the clothing, the actions, and the orchestra. This could be partly due to different directors and the year each was played. Different directors throughout the years will want to portray the same situation in different lights to show
Welding is an art, science, and high paying career all in one. Welding is the most effective way to join two pieces of metal, it is the only way to join them so they act as one. Numerous things in our daily lives has been welded from coffeepots to skyscrapers. Welding can be done almost anywhere outdoors, indoors, underwater, and even space (“Welding Basics”). It is practically

There is different types of rods and different types of ways to weld. You need a lot of training for it. There are many schools and colleges you can go to receive welding education. The most common welding processes are Gas Metal Arc Welding, Flux Core Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding and Shielded Metal Arc Welding. The easiest of these is the Gas Metal Arc Welding. Welding options are stick, flux core, tig, and mig. The pipeline tig and stick welds a lot more than the other .The pipeline use many types of techniques but, the most common on the pipeline is downhill root pass and the up hill pass. The median annual wage of welders, cutters, solderers, and brazers is
