The ideal image of a Pakistani woman is a housewife. Women become completely dependent on their spouse and spend the rest of their lives cooking, cleaning, and raising children. According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, [society is a] community, nation, or broad grouping of people having common traditions, institutions, and collective activities and interests (Society def. 3). For one to feel supported and content, they must be admitted into a society. This is evident in All Summer in a Day by Ray Bradbury and Harrison Bergeron by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. It is imperative for society to be the most highly valued as should one desire happiness, then the society must accept their actions, words, and identity though it may take time, and a society's consensus produces peace.
A society is an organized group of individuals. In the novel, The Chrysalids, by John Wyndham the Sealand society and Waknuk society are both similar and different in the way they live. The Sealand and Waknuk societies are both egocentric and ignorant, but the Sealand society accepts changes, where the Waknuk society does not accept change and would rather stay the same.
In Pakistan, people are stricken with poverty, the economy is unstable, and there are no opportunities to fulfill one’s goals. The U.S. economy is abundant and ripe with jobs. The only attribute is that one has to go out and want a job. Pakistan is more of a follower than a leader. It essentially adopts America’s ideals, but does not attain them. The poverty and unemployment rates are increasing daily. In many cases, one person works in the family and rest of the individuals sit back and play cricket or watch movies all day long. There is no hope of becoming a self-made person. The system is backwards and I think it requires a change. In contrast, living in Ameri...
National unity and ideology are the major political concerns in post colonial societies, that is why they used to apply assimilation strategy. This strategy is applied by the dominant groups. These groups might not hesitate to use state force in their own favour. So the state’s policies favour the powerful and dominant group. Pakistan is also one of the examples of plural societies. Here the state used to adopt assimilation policies to create national unity. Resultantly, the state has lost its Eastern Part. Still, various ethnic groups off and on show their resentment and different ethno nationalist movements are in the struggle to preserve identity. Following table is also helpful to show how the state of Pakistan

Pakistan is a nation still prone to change as any other nation in the globe. Its perspective is molded by the socio historical aspects of Islamic rule, British colonialism, religious fanatics and Muslim illumination proposed by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan (Qurashi, 1967). This helped in redefining the conventional roles of genders in the Muslim society. Equal opportunities for women in all walk of social life was his version of modernity. His worked forcefully helped the Muslim women to come out of their stereotypical role in the society. Under his supervision, Deputy Nazir Ahmed pictured a new image of Muslim women in his novel The Mirror Bride during the pre-independence era. After the independence of Pakistan in 1947, Fatima Jinnah actively took part in the state affairs and was perhaps the first women in modern Muslim history to take part in the presidential elections and fought rigorously against the male dominated society for democratic state, rights of the women and human rights in general.

Culture and society, while important terms to the field of anthropology, are often misunderstood or misused by new students. They are frequently used in daily life, but with a somewhat different context and meaning than those used in anthropological discussions, hence the misunderstanding. They refer to concepts which act as foundations of this field, and it is difficult to make sense of both old and new studies or ideas without them.
From 1879 with milking to the industrial farming in 1900, agriculture is improving more and more with time and technology (Burwash). Without agriculture, we would be stuck in the stone age for the inconsistent food supply coming in. But agriculture is very consistent with the same amount of food coming in every time. Technology helped agriculture make the crop sensors, where sensors and GPS locate where you already put your seeds and saves them for later and saves you a tremendous amount of money and seeds. Agriculture is a great survival skill which will keep advancing as technology accelerates forward.

"When I began working, I was afraid. I guess it was natural. I was only ten" (Zara Jamal). Gender roles for both men and women have changed throughout the years, some changes are for the better and others for the worst. For the past few decades women have been thought of less in the society, they havent been able to show the world what they can do. There have been many stereotypes, those which might never change and others that wish to be changed. Women have lived and still live through many difficulties, they say men and women have to be treated equal but the truth is that not many of these women have the equallity as those living in the united states, they dont have the choice to be what you call free. For the majority of Pakistan women, living in fear has been their daily routine.
The backbone of a stable nation, socially and politically, is agriculture. Agriculture is the largest sector that provides a nation with food and employment. Agriculture is currently being affected by climate change and at the same time it is also a contributor to climate change. The drastic elevations in climate change started from the mid to late 20th century and they have been increasing since then (Boisvenue & Running 2006). Climate change is affecting agriculture by interfering with the efficiency of crop production. Agriculture is facing droughts, flooding, sea level elevations, natural disasters, and health hazards for employees. All of these exponents lead to crop failure that creates famines and food prices to rise. On the other side, agriculture is also contributing to climate change through their output of greenhouse gas emissions and carbon footprints. These are caused by the activities that agriculture engages with such as breeding of livestock, ploughing of fields, deforestation, and the use of pesticides and other agrochemicals. Climate change affects countries differently, mainly due to their ability to adapt and their geographical location. Canada and Russia benefit from the changes in climate while Sudan and Bangladesh are affected negatively, struggling to adapt. Agriculture and climate change are interrelated processes that exist mutually making it harder to reduce one without affecting the other.
