At 25 years old, Tyler is an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, Tyler started his career as a professional YouTuber in 2008. Tyler first became an activist in 2009, after one of his videos on The Trevor Project featured on the front page of YouTube. Now, in 2015, Tyler is on the board of directors at Trevor, which is the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention group in the nation. Teen activists are inspired by different experiences because they can draw inspiration from hardships, people in need, and most if all, personal experiences.
