I would like to sincerely thank you for your consideration of my application during the regular decision round, and your continued interest. What first drew me to Tufts University was the renowned academics and bountiful research opportunities. However, upon visiting campus, I realized there is much more to Tufts than what was evident in my research; more so than any of the other colleges I visited, Tufts University champions diversity and self-exploration.
From a university who stores their late mascot’s ashes in a peanut butter jar, I am not shocked by these two characteristic pillars of Tufts. And as a student interested in majoring in neuroscience and researching mental illnesses and going to medical school and playing on the club field
This tournament, apart from entertaining students and other fans, highlights what stuff different colleges are made of. This comes at a critical time when high school seniors are considering what colleges to attend once they graduate. Thus, it is not surprising that this package of sporting events brings glad tidings to the people as it helps usher-in the beautiful spring season. However, a critical evaluation of the different teams and schools reveal the series of events -both good and not so good- that occur as they prepare for this all-important tournament.
The University of Maryland names the majority of its campus’s buildings after the legacies of influential alumni and world scholars. Most would assume that the activities that occur in each of these buildings would be a representation of the namesake, however, that is not true for the Skinner Building.

In the fall of 2010, Oregon State University had over 22,000 students registered for classes; the largest enrollment the university has ever seen. The University is heading for a mark of 30,000 by the year 2025 (Johnson, 2009). The university looks forward to a bright future with hopes of being one of the top tier Land Grant institutions. However, Oregon State has not always been the large Division 1 School it is today. Its famous mascot Benny Beaver and its colors of orange and black were not always staples of OSU. This short paper will investigate the origins of Oregon State University during the 19th century, rapidly review its growth during the 20th century, and touch upon its claims to fame and notable alumni.

...cipline to do well in research. I’m passionate about the subject, and think that my contemplative and sometimes contrarian thinking will hold me in good stead. I want to do a Masters course in the subject to help me to that path, and I can think of no better place to do it than the U.S.A., the unrivaled hub of science and technology. I would be delighted to be part of your institution in helping me achieve my goal – I have done some background research, and believe that the structure of your program, coupled with the chance to learn from some of the most illustrious faculty in the field, will bring out the best in me, and set me on my way to being a part of the scientific community. I hope that you find me, my qualifications and my deep desire to make a difference, in alignment with your values and standards, and give me a chance to be part of the NYU-Poly community.
