Would forcing transgender individuals into the bathroom they were assigned, be better for America? Or would it make the world more hectic? Transgender individuals are everywhere they are denoting or relating to a person whose sense of personal identity and gender does not correspond with their birth sex. Society today seems to think that being transgender means they are harmful to people when that is completely false.Transgender individuals should be able to use the public restroom they identify with because the transgender community are not the predators the public think they are. There is no history of a transgender person going into a bathroom or dressing room and assaulting someone. As a matter of fact a North Carolina school thought it was necessary to equip all female students with pepper spray in case of a transgender student in their bathroom. All this is doing is making the trans students of their school feel unwanted, different, or weird. Forcing transgender people to use the bathroom that is assigned on their birth certificate could be even more confusing to people. Because what if a women walked into the women’s bathroom and seen a man, whom has had a full sex change washing their hands? The women would be severely confused as to why he would be in there. The general public are still saying that being transgender is a mental illness and that they do not deserve protection from harassment. But scientists have proven that it is completely normal. Not only that but a anonymous student from Forest Hill High School stated that allowing transgender people to use the bathroom they identify with allows child molesters, rapists, and pedophiles to go into the bathroom with someone’s little girl and not get in trouble for it. Citizens of America have taken this so far that a women was mistaken as being transgender in a Walmart bathroom. She stated that she was allegedly harassed and told she should not be in the ladies bathroom and needed to leave then she was told she was disgusting. After the yelling the women says to have stormed out of the bathroom. The public seems to think that just because one trans person is entering a bathroom that all predators are entering with them.
The transgender community are not the predators the public think they are, so why can they not use the bathroom they identify with? Transgender people are people who have a gender identity or gender expression that differs from their assigned sex. So as before just because someone is transgender does not mean they are a predator. Now think about it, how can forcing others into bathrooms make America better or worse? Now when citizens see someone who is transgender in a bathroom
