To Kill a Mocking Bird - The Contribuition of the Character of Scout
In the novel To Kill a Mocking Bird, by Harper Lee there are a number of characters in the book. All of them play a very detailed role in the plot of the book, and without them it would not be anything. They story consists of two main plots. The first one is being part of a family which involves a lawyer. Then the second is the mysteries of the Radley house. The Radley house is a home near the Finch's, which is composed of many rumors, mysteries, and people. The narrator of the novel is a girl named Jean Louise, yet everyone in the novel calls her "Scout." Scout is at the age where she is stuck between being a grown up and a child. She is also at the age where she is learning about kindness, courage, and everyday life, every day. Since Scout's mother had passed away when she was two, her father Atticus had hired a housekeeper. Calpurnia had been the children's housekeeper and the mother figure every since Jem was born. Besides Atticus, Calpurnia has also made the largest influence in Scout's life.
The story takes place in a small town named Maycomb. It has two basic plots to it. The book is about the Finch family which consists of the a father, son, and daughter. The father, Atticus is a 50 year old lawyer. Atticus is the type of father who does the best for his kids and is always the god figure around the home. Atticus is a very well respected man in the home and outside of it. Jem is the oldest child of him and Scout. He is Scout's primary source of intelligence and fun. Without Jem, Scout would not realize many important things in life. Calpurnia has placed a major role in Scout's life. She has placed many useful thoughts in Scout's mind, that has helped her come a long way.
Calpurnia is from the colored community of town. Although she lives in a different home than the Finch's, their house has gradually become Calpurnia's "home away from home." When Scout was only two, Atticus had hires her to help him.
The novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, takes place in the 1930s in a small Alabama county called Maycomb. The novel is about the Finch family of three. Atticus, the father, Scout the older brother and Scout the younger sister, who acts like a tomboy. Scout may be a lady, but does not like to act like one, she likes to play and get dirty with her brother. Being young, both children learn lessons throughout the novel by many different residents, such as, Calpurnia, the maid, Miss Maudie, the neighbor, and their father, Atticus. In To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, Scout Finch tries to please her father, but living with no mother it’s hard to know how to act. It’s natural to follow Jem, her brother, when that is her only friend through out the years. Imagine hearing gossip about your father from friends, neighbors, and even your own cousin. Scout had to push through all of the gossip and believe in her father. Throughout the novel Scout shows how social she can be. To Kill a Mockingbird is a great novel that keeps you reading. Scout has a positive effect on events such as at the jail, she was the reason that the mob left. She also always curious so she is more mature than most kids her age. Through the journey of the trial she shows how hot-tempered, tomboyish, and mature she can be.
Scout was the narrator of the book "To Kill a Mockingbird" (by Harper Lee). At first she didn't know a lot about Maycomb (the town they live in), the people in the town and life. Through the book she had lots of new experiences and learned a lot. This knowledge caused significant changes in her characteristics and perspective. As the novel progressed, she has grown up. She has become a better person.
Scout is one of the central character’s in Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird. Scout is a girl who slowly changes through the course of the book. Throughout the book, Lee describes the character of Scout as being tomboyish, innocent, and aggressive.

Music can be almost anything a person wants it to be. No one can put a date on the beginning of music. Some say it began before humans spread around the world or possibly originated in Africa. A conclusion that most people would agree on is that music has been around for mostly all of time. Whether or not people know it, music is a key aspect of their lives, and it affects them in many ways. One may begin to question why do humans participate in and enjoy music so much? This question can never have a concrete answer, but many have ideas of what might be the reason.

Different Cultures all have there own specific way of communicating through music. Music is basically broken into two specific groups Eastern Music and Western Music. Eastern music is mainly derived from the orient and India. While, Western music first emerged from Europe. Western music has developed in many ways since the middle ages through its form, sound, and message.
Imagine you and your friends are going to a movie at the theater. You all file in and sit down just as the opening credits start. It starts out as a black screen and slowly fades into a battle scene. One knight comes into the main focus of the audience. He is lying on the ground hit and is going to die. You can hear a voice from the screen reading dramatic dialog, but that’s all you can hear. No background sounds, no instruments, and no music only voices. What would it be like? No music through a whole movie. Would it change the way you experience the movie? “Music is so powerful, it can change everything about a film.” (Bond 44-45) Music has a big purpose for being here. It can even change a life for the better or worst.
The film particularly focuses on a white family living in the South of the United States in the 1930s. The two siblings, Jem and Scout Finch, undergo major changes while experiencing evil and injustice in their small town of Maycomb. Jem and Scout’s father is named Atticus and he is a well-respected man in the town as well as being a lawyer. The main plot of the story is when Atticus decides to work on the case of a black man, Tom Robinson. Mayella, the woman defending against Robinson, comes from a low income and low educated family, making them a poor family.
Scout Finch, the youngest child of Atticus Finch, narrates the story. It is summer and her cousin Dill and brother Jem are her companions and playmates. They play all summer long until Dill has to go back home to Maridian and Scout and her brother start school. The Atticus’ maid, a black woman by the name of Calpurnia, is like a mother to the children. While playing, Scout and Jem discover small trinkets in a knothole in an old oak tree on the Radley property.

These changes were brought about because of new insight from research into music and brain functions. Scientist have found that music and its counterparts are a highly structured auditory language that involves complex perception, cognition, and motor control in the brain.

Music is the one form of art that connects everyone in the world. Although we may all be dancing to a different beat and singing a different harmony, it is all music. Music is heard in every aspect of our lives: at church, in social outings, outside, on television, etc. Music can extrapolate emotion without words allowing people to feel someone’s pain just by the strings or keys they play. Therefore, we must look at how music has evolved throughout history,its importance in society and the science behind its impact. As a

Can you imagine your life in the absence of music? Although listening to music is a common phenomenon, most people know little about how it affects the mind and body. Music can be used to create specific atmospheres, elicit certain emotions, and promote community and bonding. By understanding the beneficial effects that music has on our minds and bodies, we can utilize its powers to facilitate healing.

Music can be the life of an artist or a motivational tool that helps a person or culture get through the day. Regardless of the political or social scene in the future, music just like other forms of art will continue to evoke society just as it has changed it.
