Technology is an application of scientific knowledge. In my opinion Ray Bradbury’s is wrong about technology but he has a good idea that technology could take over our lives and impact us majorly. As in Ray Bradbury’s short stories, “There Will Come Soft Rains” and “The Veldt” throughout these short stories he described how technology could harm or be destructive to the world. However, in my opinion I disagree with Ray Bradbury’s opinion since with technology it makes our lives more efficient, entertains us and makes us safe.

For instance technology helps with our daily lives, it is becoming more efficient to complete tasks. Since technology is resourceful to complete tasks like schoolwork and etc. With assets like computers are used to do schoolwork, before in time we would have to write it and it would taking more time. It’s easy to access music since there are services like iTunes where users could be able to purchase and download music and other services for an example Spotify allows users to listen to music without charge. Ray Bradbury’s “The Veldt” includes several examples that entertaining is amazing with technology. Since the house is a perfect house and is automatic it makes the children in “The Veldt” entertaining since throughout the short story there was a nursery room where the children’s thoughts would change the room to what they thought about.
