Architectural drafting plays a big role in our lives. It is the process by which all architectural things around us are made. Drafting the builds before hand in their entirety makes it so you can make sure that you are following all the rules that go along with architecture, say you didn’t draft a building you were going to make and on the construction you decide to make a bedroom with only one access. If there was a fire and you were in that room and that fire spread to your room you would have nowhere to go, and firefighters would not be able to reach you. That would not be a very safe room. You should have had more ways to escape the fire, such as a window. That window would have to be large enough for you to get through of course. Or what if you accidentally built a building that was not structurally sound and it just collapsed. That would not be safe at all. Architectural drafting can prevent this. Obviously architectural drafting goes pretty far back or we would have heard of many buildings collapsing and such.
