Title: The Vampire’s Promise Author: Caroline B. Cooney, no I have never read any other book by this author. Type of Book: this book is a Fictional Characters: There is many characters in this book that are good and bad; Althea was one of the main characters she was very sweet and caring she was one of my favorite characters, the second most important character would be the vampire, he was very sneaky and had no empathy for others. Next is the cheerleading squad (Celeste, Becky, Dusty, Kimmie-Jo, Jennie, and Constance), they were kind of preppy and did care about anyone but themselves they were also part of the popular group, last is the boys Michael and Ryan, the seemed to have a goofy type of personalities, they were also part of the popular group so they did care about anyone else unless they were also popular. …show more content…

Althea gives the vampire people he could feed on in return he gives Althea popularity. When she does this she become more popular and gets put on the cheer squad. After a while Althea got tired of giving up on her friends so she stopped giving the vampire people. This book was a type of dark story. Your Evaluation: The thing that I learned from this story is to not take what you already have for granite because things may start of well in the beginning but in the end all you really have is yourself. I have never read any other book by this author, in all I believe that the author did a very good job on the book. Last is the book did appeal to me in a logical way because the girl thought she was getting everything she wanted but she was really taking it from someone
