In Macbeth the protagonist idealizes the idea of being king. The tragic play Macbeth by William Shakespeare takes place in middle aged Scotland. In Macbeth the protagonist manipulates his future of killing people to get where he wants to be. As Macbeth is pursuing after his ideal to become king he is influenced by his greedy wife, Lady Macbeth who helps her husband commit these gruesome crimes; as a result they both die. In this play both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth die because of their lack of temperance, remorse, and understanding, and their greed.
In Macbeth the protagonist’s wife, Lady Macbeth does not have patience for Macbeth to become king. As Macbeth walks onto the stage Lady Macbeth immediately suggests the plan to kill Duncan when she says, “ Look like th’ innocent flower, but be the serpent under... and you shall put this night's great business into my dispatch which shall to all our nights and days to come to give solely sovereign sway masterdom”( 1.5.75-82). Lady Macbeth proves her lack of temperance by coercing Macbeth into killing Duncan. Lady Macbeth is so eager to take away someone’s life so that she and her husband can live in luxury. Lady Macbeth does not have self-control because she is so anxious for the title she is going to be holding.
During the series of vicious crimes Lady Macbeth, she did not understand the trouble she was getting herself into. As Lady Macbeth was telling Macbeth how important killing Duncan is to her, she then describes what extent she go to so that Macbeth can kill Duncan, “ When you durst do it, then you were a man and to be more than what you were, you would be so much more the man. Nor time nor place did then adhere, and yet would you would make both they have made themselves, and tha...

...he does not know the full concept of having a family and how important family is. So then Macbeth did not feel guilty when he killed off Macduff’s family. Further more Macbeth is curl for executing Macduff's family.
During the killing spree of Macbeth, and the deceiving tricks of Lady Macbeth they both did not understand the trouble they were getting themselves into, and the lack of patience they had, moreover how greedy they were for something they did not belong to them, and finally they did not have remorse for what they did.Time is more powerful than human. This theme means that Macbeth and Lady Macbeth manipulated time so they can get what they want for example when they both planned to kill every one that got into the way of their avarice. Envy is not good for one mans desire.
