The Republican Party and the Democratic Party have been feuding with each other for
years. Some people choose the Republican Party and some choose the Democratic Party.
The Republican party was creating in 1854 . The Republican Party work on freedom,
prosperity, vision, strength and future. The Democratic Party was created during the
Democratic National Convention of 1848. Democrats work to elect local, federal, and state
candidates in their states. They focus mostly on current and future needs of the state. The
Two parties have their differences though, the Republican Party believe taxes should

The Republican Party believe in raising military taxes to buy more guns and ammo for soldiers, when the Democratic Party want to lower military taxes. Instead of just freely giving weapons to people in Syria to help with ISIS. We should just send group troops to take care of them because if we keep giving them our weapons we will need more money to make more.
Another difference is that republicans
believe in individual freedoms, so people who don't work don't deserve everyday freedoms
as someone who does. Democrats believe in everyone is equal, therefore someone that
doesn't work still get freedoms that they were promised I'm the Constitution.
The major difference between the two parties involve their views on taxes, healthcare,
military, and gun control. The republicans believe that taxes should be higher for everyone,
the military need more funding so they need to raise military tax,they strongly oppose
Obamacare, and they also don't like gun control law. Military taxes should not increase, we
are already the strongest military in the world. If we just stopped training other militaries
and giving them our weapons then we wouldn't have to increase the tax. The republicans
also believe that there shouldn't be gun control laws. Over the past couple years we've had
movie theater massacres and school shooting, but people are to blind to realized that this
gun law is hurting people. Democrats on the other hand want to lower taxes for lower
income families, they want to lower military taxes, and they also believe that there
should be a control on the guns. It's not fair for struggling lower income families to pay higher taxes when you have wealthier families that can without any struggle. The gun laws need to be put into effect as soon as possible, theses shooting need to stop too many people are getting hurt. For democrats Obamacare is great. Obamacare basically gives healthcare to everyone. Healthcare is a given right everyone should have. Even if you don't work or anything you still should have healthcare. The republicans think Obamacare is the worst thing ever. They want to repeal Obamacare. They claim is hurting the constitution. The thing is Obamacare helps everyone. The republicans blame Obama for the reason why the economy is so bad, but the economy was bad before he took office. We are $17 trillion in debt and by lowering military tax we can pay some of that debt off. we need to control our government spending. I personally choose to be a democrat mainly because I like what they are fighting for. I'm not a big fan of politics and I usually tend to stay out of them. When it comes to gun control and taxes I care a lot about. I'm only 17 and I'm already paying taxes. If taxes were raised what happenes if I don't have a lot of money to pay them when I'm only a teenager. Gun control too many people are dying. We don't necessarily have to take them away, but at least set some restrictions.
Though many things have changed, there are still many similarities between the first and second political party systems. The Democratic Party and the Democratic-Republican Party have a major similarity when it comes to economics. The Democratic Party did not support the American System because it called for a new national bank, uniform currency, and a protective tariff. I am writing on behalf of my thoughts and myself about gun control laws. My position on this topic is neutral leaning towards the "No Gun" law. The idea of a federal law to ban these guns is a good idea, but it could be better. I believe strongly that guns should be banned from our country in some kind of way, but there are exceptions like for law enforcement and hunters. This law could lower the murder and death rates drastically. The US would be a whole different and safer country to live in. No one should live in a society where they are afraid of being killed by a gun, we should try harder to make this society in the US a better place. I have many reasons to back my views on this topic, and here are some main reasons that you should really think about.

The U.S. should not have gun control laws. The Second Amendment to the Constitution states that, “A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” This amendment has been around since 1791, and there has been gun control almost as long as it's been around. The National Rifle Association is an advocate of the Second Amendment and an opponent of those who propose restrictions on guns. Even Presidents Reagan and Bush are members, and Nixon, Eisenhower, and Kennedy were also members. Why do people feel the need to own a handgun? One reason is heritage. For as long as this country has been around, there have been gun owners, to defend themselves and to hunt for food. Buying, owning, or carrying a handgun doesn't hurt anyone. Until a person commits a crime, he/she is free to choose what he/she wants to do. Even if guns were completely banned from the U.S.A., people would still find a way to get them. Criminals would get guns. They would have their way, and there would be nothing we could do about it. We would have no way to defend ourselves. What is gun control to you? To me, it is the unconstitutional regulation and banning of guns to try to keep the crime rates in this country down. Does it work? Some gun laws are okay and they may work to some extent, but not to the extent that was intended. As for most of these gun laws such as the Brady Law, it serves no purpose. It is only there to make our lawmaking bodies and those of us who are too naive to see the truth feel better. Do you really think that the Brady Law keeps handguns out of the hands of criminals?
In the United States there are only two main political parties to choose from. The two main parties are the Democrats and the Republicans. There are also many other political parties to choose from which are called third parties. Third parties may include political parties such as the Socialist Equality Party and the Peace and Equality party. People can choose to be a part of any party they want but most go with the common two main parties the Democrats and Republicans. Democrats and Republicans have many similarities and differences. These mainly occur in international, social, economic, and domestic issues.
A substantial amount of Americans are without health insurance. We propose tax credits for small businesses that provide health insurance, retirement benefits, and employment and internships to students. We also propose that tax credits be given to businesses that practice clean air and environmental safety. We believe that our youth is a key concern of the nation and we need to set certain measures to make them feel safe and secure as Americans. A measure that we feel that needs to be taken is to raise taxes on such products as cigarettes and guns. The Democratic Party believes in helping American families economically and socially through more equitable tax benefits.
In The United States of America there are lots of problems that are plaguing our nation. Gun Control is a problem that there is lots of controversy over. This is a problem that had a fire reignited under it when on December 14, 2012 a school in Connecticut was attacked. Many legislative bills have been introduced since then. Like every other good ol' boy, I am concerned about being the victim of a random shooting, but at the same time, I want to be able to take down a nice10-point buck during hunting season. Guns effect every one of us every day. They fill us with fear or they make us feel protected. My point is this: guns are a problem, but using gun control to abolish them isn't necessarily the best solution. In gun control I mean laws that keep firearms off the street by preventing their purchase. I agree that some form of gun control is needed, butwhat we really need to concentrate on is gun licensing and more gun safety. I believe in my constitutional right to keep and bear arms, and I don't feel that legislators should be allowed to take away that right. Gun control can be a good thing, but if it leads to gun prohibition I will fight it until the day I die.
