Net neutrality was the big talk towards the end of 2017. Taking away net neutrality would cause chaos in my opinion. Making schools and other organizations pay to use technology only discourages them from doing so which is a major step backwards in such a technological point in time. The world is constantly creating new ways to implement technology to our everyday lives and charging us to do so is not a step in the right direction. Saying that getting rid of net neutrality will do away with discrimination is absurd. Discrimination was around way before the internet was but instead we once again have one political party trying to undermine the other by playing the victim. School shootings, armed robberies, and terrorist attacks just to name a few incidences that could’ve been prevented or have had drastically reduced death tolls. Response time for the police can be up to ten minutes and a lot can happen in that amount of time. But if school officials and everyday citizens were able to have a concealed carry that ten minutes could save many lives. Gun control won’t solve anything and that’s obvious since almost all guns involved in these crimes aren’t registered to the criminal. So by implementing gun control you are restricting what legal gun owners can do, in turn hurting more people. The topic is a touchy subject since politics are often dragged into the conversation much to fast. The right to bear arms shouldn’t be as controversial as it has become nowadays. I unfortunately am not old enough to have a concealed carry in the state of Nebraska. I look forward to being able to obtain a concealed carry permit in 3 years.  It is unfortunate that we live in a time where almost everyone is offended by something preventing the rest of us from doing the things we want.My mom has been the biggest influence in my life since she also has a career in
