The scientific definition of global climate change is a long-term change in the earth’s climate due to an increase in the average atmospheric temperature. The facts about the global climate change are known throughout the scientific community, but not well known in the public and those facts are going be explained in this essay. Either the two reasons that people use for the global climate change are that it is the human species’ fault or it is a natural course of the environment. Both of sides of the argument are going to be explained depth in this essay, too. Global climate change, also known incorrectly as global warming, is not a debate about whether or not it exists. It is a debate about whether it is the human species’ fault or if it is an effect of the natural processes. Evidence of global climate change is in an abundance everywhere we look. The atmosphere’s level of carbon dioxide has increased dramatically to the point where it is causing the average temperature to rise because carbon dioxide holds in heat. They argue that since the earth has gone through this before, 3 million years ago, it is natural for the earth to repeat the cycle. Since the earth’s beginning, its atmosphere has changed constantly; it is a never-ending cycle that will continuously repeat itself. This side believes that scientists are accusing it being human’s fault for profit, for example, making money off the making electric cars. To them the scientists are lying about the figures and results of the experiments they have performed. They argue that scientists have yet to prove that carbon dioxide is heating up the atmosphere. In addition, they argue that the polar ice caps are not melting, that instead, the ice has grown over 60% in the last year. This side, like the other one believes in their argument strongly and say they have evidence to prove
