All companies that are connected with the healthcare system encounter multiple problems that are not being resolved. Queens of Bringing Hearts Together is a company that deals with several heart issues and it is open to the public to provide the best care plans, knowledge and heart transplants at affordable prices for patients. The reason why we decided to construct a company based on heart related issues is because this chronic issue is not taken seriously, as it should be. At the moment it is being stated that, “Heart failure is a progressive and disabling medical condition estimated to affect 5.7 million Americans and consumes an estimated total of $27 billion dollars in annual treatment expenditures” (Gellis 2012). Since 1924 the American Heart Association has been very successful in raising funds, sponsoring research, and spreading awareness of the causes and consequences of stroke and heart disease. In 2006 in support of their mission statement “Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke”, the AHA announced a new strategic goal of increasing their total revenue from $600 million to $1 billion in order to reduce the death rate from coronary heart disease and stroke by 25 percent by 2010. In order to achieve such a lofty goal, the AHA acknowledged the need to identify and develop a differentiated workforce that would be able to carry out the strategic intent of the organization by shifting their focus to attracting, selecting, and retaining top talent through strategic investments.
Jane Eyre, written in 1847 by Charlotte Bronte, relates a tale of tragedy, mystery, and gothic romance. Covering the multiple issues of England in that time, Bronte writes of orphan treatment, social class, and Britain’s controversial law of prohibiting divorce in all circumstances. Orphaned at a young age and unwanted by her guardian Mrs. Reed, Jane searches for higher prospects in education at Lowood, eventually earning a position as a governess at Thornfield. Complications disrupt her life, when she becomes engaged to her employer, Mr. Rochester, and soon after discovers that he is already married to a lunatic. Leaving Thornfield, Jane finds a home with St. John and his two sisters. Eventually, she returns to her former employer, discovering Thornfield in ashes, Mrs. Rochester dead, and Mr. Rochester blind and free from wedlock. Flooded with motifs, Jane’s continual struggles between her passions and responsibility prevail as the main theme of Bronte’s entrancing narrative.
Heart disease is one of the most common causes of the mortality and morbidity in most well developed countries. Habits of The Heart create a vision of the middle class American life with all its good, bad, strengths and weaknesses. Its examines the conflict that exists between individuality and community in this country, as well as how these conflicts effect our ability to form relationships with others, whether it is in a public arena or our own intimate relationships with family and friends. The very word individualism means to look out for number one, it implies a me society that has lost it’s way from the way it use to be. The title “Habits Of The Heart” creates images of love, faith, hope and commitment to others, a sense of belonging to something larger than yourself. Does individualism really exist, or is it that people tend to forget where they came from and how much they really are influenced by family, community and others around them.
Doctor Sidney Garfield and Henry Kaiser’s partnership that goes all the way back to the 1930’s became a revolutionary network of healthcare providers working with the insurance company. Kaiser Permanente’s formative years were amidst the Great Depression and Dr. Garfield was charged with task of supplying medical care to thousands of Los Angeles Aqueduct workers. Being the Depression, financing was very difficult so Dr. Garfield simply charged 5 cents a day for each employee to the insurance company of the contractor. This was the essential birth of prepayment in the health insurance system, but that alone was not enough. Due to the potential patient load, Dr. Garfield focused upon preventative safety measures rather than simply reactionary care. This fundamental philosophy of innovation and the focus on health as opposed to mending has been the hallmark of modern Kaiser Permanente. The advertising campaign and slogan “Live Well and Thrive” encourages this very philosophy a...
Heart Failure (HF) is prevalent disorder that affected 6.6 million people in the United Sates during 2010 (Patarroyo-Aponte & Colvin-Adams, 2014). The heart lacks the ability to push oxygenated blood throughout the cardiovascular system. This disorder prevents vital organs from getting the oxygen needed in order to perform their duties as well. The disorder must be managed and maintained since HF is a disorder that not only affects the heart but respiratory system, endocrine system, digestive system and all other system (Chiarugi, Colantonio, Emmanouilidou, Martinelli, Moroni, & Salvetti, 2010). Heart failure is a serious disorder is which expected to increase by 25% by the year 2030. To coincide with the people diagnosed with heart failure, 50% of these people will die within the 5 years of being diagnosed (Patarroyo-Aponte & Colvin-Adams, 2014). With these numbers of diagnoses and mortality puts a strain on the quality of healthcare, cost of healthcare and workflow of healthcare system. However, the earlier the patient can be diagnosed with heart failure will help decrease mortality rates, hospital stays and cost of treatments. One of the ways of early detection for heart failure is by the implementation of a clinical decision support system (CDSS) into a healthcare facility.

Health care in the United States is a booming topic that everyone seems to have their own opinion on, but are the health care companies really interested in making the world a healthier place or are they more interested in making money? This is a growing social problem in not only the United States but the world. The social problems that are arising from health care are the growing pharmaceutical problems, the issue on overmedication, and the issue surrounding privatized hospitals. These social problems have been growing for decades and it is finally time to stop them.
We can not only talk with, but we can see the person we are talking to thousands of miles away. It is mankind's greatest hour. Yet sadly, it is also our time of dying. Strange that no matter how advanced our society has become, our nation's health hasn't caught up. After all, heart disease, also known as cardiovascular disease, is our nation's number one killer (Preventive Magazine Health Books p. 153).

Whereas the change will only be effective if traditional standards and beliefs will be revise, reinterpret the current standards and devoting to new ideals. In most part, majority of people do what they think they are suitable with and stay on it or in other words people will just go on with the majority. The technique here is to find out how to implement and explain the movement of the standards. The focus in here is more on appealing and active guidance. Isn’t it funny? How, something written in the year of 1850, can still teach us about our lives today? In our day and age, people work so hard to protect and shield their hearts, yet is that truly the best thing to do? An open heart affects your whole life, and yet most people don't understand the importance of a pure and open heart. Having an open heart affects your character, your perspective, and how you handle things. In the bible, God tells us that above all you should guard your heart, yet people confuse
