Fundamental Street, U.S.A. - Inspired by Walt Disney's recollections of the place where he grew up, Main Street U.S.A. is a re-formation of mid twentieth century residential area America, on a 7/8 scale. There are interesting shops, a town corridor, fire station... indeed, even an old-style barbershop.

The ticket price range at Disney World is ranged from one hundred to over eight hundred dollars. Shown on the Disney World website, the annual passes are eight hundred, and the daily tickets are one hundred dollars per ticket. The price of tickets are much more expensive for non-residents of Florida. Not to mention, purchasing a plane ticket to Florida can add more to the bill. The food prices at Florida are expensive too. Tuttle, a journalist, mentions, “Food easily costs over $10 per person, per order even at Disney's to-go type restaurants, and sometimes over $50 per person for special meals hosted by characters like Ariel and Winnie the Pooh.” (par.4). Hotels at Disney World cost around one thousand dollars a night. Souvenirs can add an extra thirty dollars. On an empty stomach, Disney world serves unique food. Przygoda, a student at university South Carolina, shows a mouthwatering dessert sold at Disney World, “Kitchen Sink.” (par.2). The Kitchen Sink dessert contains a bowl of ice cream and whip cream with loads of cherries on top. Regardless of the price of the park, Disney World brings smiles to kids all over the world with their live Disney characters, and rides. Disney World holds four parks that total to over fifty rides. Porter, a journalist, shows, “If you are visiting for exactly four days you can hit every park giving each its own designated day.” (par.4). It takes more than two days to enjoy all four parks at Disney world, but perhaps even more. The parks also allows families to take pictures with Disney characters walking around the
Both features follow the tale of their respective heroine, Snow White in Snow White, and Rapunzel in Tangled. Snow White as Disney’s first princess is simple. Her high pitched voice allows for a feeling of innocence and naivety. Characterized in her opening song, “I’m Wishing,” Snow White fetches water out of a well while singing to her reflection. 73 years later, the princess has matured.
The price is the big downside at universal studios. It cost a lot and if you want to get through the rides quicker you are going to want the fast pass. The fast pass cost $40 for single pass use, but cost $60-$150 on a holiday for 2 unlimited passes for a day. The cost for one ticket is $105 which is a lot of money for one ticket. So if you are going with a few people you will be fine but if your whole family is there it is going to cost a lot.
Since Disney’s Snow White appeared in 1937, Disney princesses have been a present in pop culture. With the release of new movies frequent and re-release of decades old movies inevitable, a continuous stream keeps Disney princesses in the foreground of adolescent society. It is with the value of entertainment they have been created and as entertainment they should be viewed.
Disneyland marked the onset of theme parks in the nation, which was carved out of a fantasy tale and it has been the leader for 60 years. And, there was virtually no competition to the attraction quotient that attracted people and tourists to visit the theme park.

Florida is home to the world's most famous park - Disneyworld. This magical world of Mickey located in Orlando continues to attract the most visitors than any other amusement park in the country. Inside you can amuse yourself and the family with 4 theme parks which consist of Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom. A treat to these parks is the ultimate answer to every child's dream.
When it first opened, there was moderate controversy over the lack of African American employees. Since 1963, civil rights activists have pressured Disneyland to hire people of different races to make the park more diverse. Back then Disneyland had a number of temporary rides and shows that passed through rather quickly. This was because the park only had about half the number of attractions it has now. When Disneyland first opened guests were charged separately for admission to the park and attraction tickets. According to the website mouseplanet accessed on November 16 2015, “Adults could get into the park for $1 and rides cost between 10-30 cents.” Since its opening, Disneyland has undergone a number of expansions and major renovations. This includes the addition of New Orleans Square in 1966, Bear Country in 1972, and Mickey's Toontown in 1993. As stated in the article Then and Now on the pbs website accessed on November 16 2015, “Tickets to enter the park now cost around $85.00.” Since the opening the park has restored many classic attractions such as Space Mountain, Jungle Cruise, and the Haunted
Disney World is an educational wonderland. Disney World was founded October 1, 1971 by Roy O. Disney and Walt Disney. It wasn’t even thought of until four years after the first park Disneyland was opened in Anaheim, California. Walt Disney productions began looking for land for a second park and eventually found the perfect spot. Disney World is an entertainment complex in Orlando, Florida with four distinctly themed amusement parks, two water parks, and over ten resorts. According to Disney’s millions of guest, it is the master of “edu-tainment,” a way of entertaining and educating guest at the same time. Disney has a large selection of ways to “edu-tain” its guest. Its history, science, and animal exhibits are just a few ways children will learn while having fun. A Disney vacation teaches children new information and reinforces what children are currently learning in school. Disney world has many educational opportunities at its three parks, Magic kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot.
Magic Gardens is a total of 3,000 square feet of mosaicked space. The indoor gallery spaces host artists from all over the world and exhibits works that focuses on ceramic, mosaic, or “outsider” art. Philadelphia Magic Gardens explains on their website that along with the gallery space Magic Gardens also has educational programs, performances, tours, and workshops, all of which are open for the public (Phillymagicgardens.com). The first theme park opening in 1955 was Disneyland in California. After one full year of construction demands and a total investment of $17 million the Six thousands invitations to the grand opening had been mailed inviting people to experience the magic Disney had created but when the gates opened the Disneyland was far from magical. Workmen were still planting trees, the paint was still wet and the asphalt wasn’t set. The food stalls and restaurants ran out of food due to the high number of people because of counterfeit tickets being sold. Walt Disney didn’t know didn’t know what was going on because his attention was on the live broadcast. The rides broke down shortly after use. When Walt Disney World opened in 1971 the
Sleeping Beauty's castle is located at the Disneyland amusement park in Anaheim, California. The castle was opened in April 1957, roughly two years after Disneyland itself opened. Since its opening, the castle has become a major attraction at the park. It is often shown in advertisements for Disneyland and appears on its movie logo. The castle stands in the center of the park, at the end of Disneyland's Main Street. It is also directly aligned with the front entrance of the park. The exterior of the castle is the main emphasis of the attraction. It represents the medieval castle where Sleeping Beauty was born. The numerous towers and walkways that make up the castle are inaccessible. They are only part of the castle's decoration. Visitors to the castle will find that they cannot ascend into any of these towers and can only walk straight through the castle. The walkway through castle displays a diorama of Sleeping Beauty's life...
Walt Disney World, in Orland Florida, goes to great lengths to make their visitors feel involved at all times. If customers opt to purchase the “Magic Band” they are signing up to receive the best of the best treatment Disney can offer, in regards to queuing. With the band, customers can scan their band at a kiosk and enter which ride they would like to go to. The kiosk will then tell them the approximate wait time and when would be the best time to go. This is Disney’s way of encouraging customers to come during slack periods and informing the customers of what to expect. This allows for patrons of the park to pay a little extra in order to plan their day around those long
The Main Street station, is the curtains to a large production as if the Magic Kingdom was a theater. As I wander beneath the archway, I notice that above the arch is a plaque that reads: “Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy”. As I continue to stroll through the passage on the way to Main Street, there are posters of “upcoming attractions” that line the walls on both sides. I then step into Main Street U.S.A. and begin to hear the Victorian style orchestra playing over the speakers. I notice some Disney pals in Town Square greeting guests as if they were old friends. Then I begin to travel further down the street, and the smell of the caramel apples, chocolate chip cookies, and other sweets walk out of the open doors of the bakery and into the street. At the end of this turn of the century town, sits the one hundred eightyninefoottall, Cinderella Castle. This moment is a pivotal moment in any Disney vacation, because the castle is well known to millions. I get
